REVIEW: BLIND ATTRACTION is the first storyline in Eden Summers new contemporary rock star romance series Reckless Beat. As the first in the series, Eden introduces the reader to the members of the band and their current lives and loves. Blind Attraction is Mitch and Alana’s emotional storyline of learning to trust and letting go.

Eden Summers has written a storyline of one man’s need to protect a stranger who tugs at his heart. But an accident of anger and fate will bring this couple together where Mitch learns to open his heart and his mind to the potential for love. Learning that Alana is no groupie willing to put out for any rock star, Mitch must focus on healing both Alana and himself. But a few surprises and the inevitable pushing away will force Mitch to look inside himself to see what and whom he really wants.

The relationship between Mitch and Alana is quick to develop. Spotting the green-eyed beauty from the stage, Mitch knows instantly that Alana is not the usual rock-god fan. Hoping to ‘get to know’ her better, Mitch will be surprised to learn that Alana has been sheltered from the real world most of her life. Mitch soon discovers that there is more to life than a quick jump in the sack, and Alana may be the one. The romance is erotic and sensual: romantic and hot. Everyone will want their own rock star lover.

Eden’s writing will awaken a renewed hope for readers that they too may one day find the one. The storyline is fast paced, well-written with a happily ever after. There are a few ‘intimate’ surprises involving another member of the band, but we know his storyline will be told in the future.

Congratulations to Eden Summers on her foray into the rock star genre.

  1. Great review, Sandy. This sounds like a good premise, though haven’t we recently seen another rock star theme? You seemed to really enjoy Blind Attraction. I might like it too.
