And if he asks for Hannah’s hand, will she be able to resist him?

Love is the most powerful weapon of all.

Alexander Lochlannach, Laird of Dunnet, has no time to lose. The Highlands are in an uproar as clans battle for land—without mercy—and Alexander can’t afford to fall for the wildly attractive, strong-willed Hannah. What’s more, he has a desperate secret, one that could destroy them both. But as their attraction turns into an all-consuming passion, Alexander has no choice but to prove to Hannah that he’s the only man for her—body and soul…

REVIEW

5 out of 5 for this reader folks!

Man I love it when an author nails a great highlander romance book. Hannah and the Highlander by Sabrina York is the first book in her Untamed Highlanders series and it completely delivered all I cherish in a historical romance.

Hannah Dounreay is a strong will, fight to the bone, smart, independent and strong willed in her beliefs. After rejecting many proposals of marriage from suitors who only seem interested in the land that comes with her dowry, she hesitantly accepts the proposal of a man that not only caught her eye but saved her from a horrifying situation.

Alexander Lochlannach is Laird of Dunnet with demons in his closet. When he see Hannah he knows she must be his. Once the marriage has been seen to he realizes that his passion for his wife cannot be tamed. Everything seems to come together in the marriage bed at night, but during daylight, Alexander locks himself away from his hopeful bride. Not having any of that, Hannah decides she is going to get to know her husband by any means necessary.

With danger and warring clans lurking, never has a time been so inconvenient for something as silly as love. Secrets that are being kept must be revealed and chances of trust and love laid out.

YUP … so much more but that is all you get! You have to read this to get the full impact! WINK

Sabrina York is amazing at character development and matching lead characters that compliment the other. This story could of gone so wrong in so many places and ways, but the writing was absolutely captivating and brilliant. The history was researched, the characters believable and an absolute pleasure to engage in. I adored the secondary characters, the humour used, and my goodness I LOVED the steamy love scenes. I am so looking forward to reading more from this author and not in just this series!

HAPPY READING! 🙂
