Told from first person perspectives (Astrid) FOREWARNED follows in the wake of Astrid discovering her fated mate. Astrid wants nothing to do with the Shadow Prince Rave but something about Rave draws her life a moth to a flame. Having spent much of her life with her best friend August, Astrid knows they will remain only friends but having seen and felt her fated mate, Astrid struggles with the discovery of Prince Rave, and the possibility that life as she knows it is coming to an end. This is attorney Natalie Ward, and Knights of Fury member Atlas’ story line. ANSWERING ATLAS can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion I recommend reading the series in order. Natalie is the daughter of Rake and Bailey (Rake’s Redemption/Wind Dragon 5), and sister of Cara (Decker’s Dilemma /Knights and Dragons 1) .

NOTE: The KNIGHTS AND DRAGONS MC focuses on two MCs -The Wind Dragons and the Knights of Fury, therefore many of the current scenarios and situations cross over with both series, as well as the author’s Fast and Fury series.Atlas and his twin brother Aries own and work for Fast and Fury.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Atlas and Natalie) ANSWERING ATLAS continues to focus on the search the former leader of the Forgotten Children aka FC, a man who is determined to take down the Wind Dragons MC for the death of his only son. Natalie comes across as a snob; too good for the likes of the MC and Atlas, and ultimately his brother Aries, but a snobbery based in experience and love. Her attitude pushes all of Atlas’ proverbial buttons until the truth reveals a blood connection to the Wind Dragons MC, and the lifestyle she has lived most of her life. Atlas‘ brother Aries is the first to ‘hit on’ our story line heroine but as identical twins, Natalie had no idea she was dealing with a different person. Atlas knew Natalie was the woman that called to his heart but the death of two members of the Knights of Fury MC threaten to destroy our hero, breaking both Atlas and Natalie’s heart and soul in the process. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters from all three interconnected series-The Wind Dragons MC, Knights of Fury MC, and the Fast and Fury auto body shop.The imminent break down of the Wind Dragons MC see the possibility of merging with the Knights of Fury, and the murder of two of their own, threatens the stability of everyone involved.

ANSWERING ATLAS is the story of betrayal and vengeance, family and relationships, love and loss, acceptance and moving on. The fast paced premise is heart breaking and intriguing; the romance is seductive; the characters are dynamic and charismatic.

The relationship between Nadia and Trade is slow to build as Trade struggles to move on from the past. Nadia is reluctant to fall for a man who is unable to let go of what was especially when she may always be second choice, now and in the future. Trade never thought he would find someone else to love, and guilt begins to override his need for our heroine. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several from the Knights of Fury MC. We are introduced to Trade’s children, their aunt Izzy, and Detective Decker.

CUSTOM LOVE is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; a story of betrayal and vengeance; second chances and the future. The premise is engaging and entertaining but not quite as edgy as the previous instalments- I expected a little more drama and conflict when it came to the resolution; the romance is sweet and gentle; the characters are energetic and enterprising.

REVIEW: CUSTOM MADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult FAST AND FURY romance series focusing on the men and women who work for Fast and Fury Custom Cycles. This is businessman Orion Stenton, and artist/mechanic Cameron Davies’ story line. CUSTOM MADE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. FAST AND FURY is a spin off form the author’s Knights of Fury MC series. Many of the characters play secondary and supporting roles.

Told from first person perspective (Cameron) CUSTOM MADE follows the building romance and relationship between artist/mechanic Cameron Davies, and businessman Orion Stenton. Cameron Davies served her time, and in the ensuing three years made a name for herself as the creative designer at Fast and Fury. A night on the town with the wives of the Knights of Fury MC, and a one night stand found our heroine facing down her future, a man with a questionable reputation but a man whose custom order forces Cameron to face down her past. Enter businessman Orion Stenon, and the man with whom Cameron will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Cameron and Orion, and the potential fall-out as Cameron’s past demands everything and more.

Orion Stenton is a man of questionable means but a man who has quickly fallen for our story line heroine. Cameron Davies has been burned in the past, having landed her a stint in prison, along with issues of trust regarding secrets and lies. As their relationship begins to build, Cameron’s past resurfaces, and promises to make trouble for our story line heroine.

The relationship between Cameron and Orion begins as a one-night stand that quickly turns into something more. Orion is a VIP client at Fast and Fury, and Cameron had no idea that she was about to work for the man with whom she will fall in love but Cameron struggles with issues of trust and Orion is about to put her trust to the test. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.

We are reintroduced to several members of the Knight of Fury MC: Temper and Abbie, Skylar and Saint, Renny and Izzy; PI Billie; Orion’s sisters Isla, Luna and Asta, as well as their mother Maria; Orion’s cousins Teddy and Bjorn; MC members Dee and Chains; and new prospects Diesel, Atlas and Aries.

CUSTOM MADE is a story of family, friendships, betrayal and vengeance; a story of love, acceptance, forgiveness and happily ever after. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are colorful, animated and inspiring.

I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I wish the author told the story in dual first person perspectives or third person. We are completely unaware of Orion’s side of the story, his business, and his questionable actions that are a bit of concern for the local MC. The world building would be so much richer with dual points of view.
