REVIEW: CELEBRATE is the eighth (and final?) instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult NOLA Defiance MC romance series. This is the continuing story of club president Lynx ‘Hurricane’ Ladet, and his ol’ lady Kaia. CELEBRATE should not be read as a stand alone. Some of the events of CELEBRATE run parallel to, and cross over with the events of OBLITERATE 7.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hurricane and Kaia) CELEBRATE focuses on the ongoing relationship between Hurricane and Kaia. Having postponed their honeymoon one too many times, Hurricane and Kaia finally arrive in Hawaii where Hurricane will introduce himself to Hawaii’s newest chapter of the Defiance MC but Hurricane’s arrival coincides with a problem that needs to be solved, and our hero finds himself a lone man on a mission of search and rescue.Months later, the take down of the Rojas Cartel doesn’t go according to plan, and the Defiance MC is about to discover the high price of going to war.

The world building covers approximately eighteen months wherein the grief of loss is celebrated with renewal and rebirth. The Defiance MC circle the proverbial wagons around one of their own, only to discover not everything is as it appears to be.

The relationship between Hurricane and Kaia continues to be seductive and intense. Hurricane is a man determined to protect his family, and his brothers with everything and more; Kaia is a strong woman who is about to experience the pain of heart break and loss. The $ex scenes are intimate but limited.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including several MC members from various Defiance MCs.

CELEBRATE is a story of grief and loss, family, love and friendships. The premise is emotional, heart breaking and engaging; the characters are determined and dynamic.
