Killer clowns from…
Does it really matter where they’re from? They’re clowns who murder people!
Sydney stormed into her boss’s office with a plan: resign. Taking part in his demise was a bonus. The blood, fresh on her hands, sparked a new obsession: a dangerously mysterious lover in face paint named Fink.
Fink was in a rut and going through the motions until Sydney crashed his hit. Now the contract killer craved more than adrenaline rushes. He hungered for the delectable siren in the red wig and clown makeup.
Being together is a liability.
Separating is unthinkable.
Murder is their foreplay.
How long can they keep playing this game?

REVIEW:FINK by Victoria Jayne is a contemporary, adult , contract killer clown, dark, romance story line focusing on hitman Callum ‘Fink’ Rafferty, and former PA Sydney Cassidy.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Fink and Sydney) FINK follows in the wake of the death of Sydney’s boss Mitchell Grant, a misogynist womanizer, a death in which Sydney never expected to participate. Callum ‘Fink’ Rafferty is a hitman for hire, and his latest target is Mitchell Grant but Fink had help in the guise of Sydney Cassidy, a young woman in the wrong place at the right time. On the run with Fink, Sydney found herself drawn to a man in sadistic clown paint, something of which our heroine is about to partake. Working with a partner was never in the cards but Fink’s attraction to the woman with the same questionable morals brings together two eccentric individuals doing the work most would never touch.
The world building follows Sydney and Fink as they journey between jobs: some assigned and contracted while another as a bonus to protect them both. Sydney’s desire to help Fink is often questioned by the man in charge, a man who is willing to take aim if everything goes wrong.
The relationship between Fink and Sydney is unconventional and bizarre. Witnessing Fink in action propels Sydney into a world in which she never thought she would star, a world in which she is about to be front and centre as they work together without a second thought. The $ex scenes are aggressive and not without some questionable kinks.
The secondary and supporting characters including Sydney’s co-workers, boss, and foster family, as well as Fink’s handler Aj, and Fink’s intended targets.
FINK is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, murder and lust, acceptance and moving on. The character driven premise is dark and dramatic; the characters are idiosyncratic and unusual, akin to the Joker™ and Harley Quinn™, and Natural Born Killers™.
FINK ends on a happily ever after-for now. I don’t know if the author has plans for more

Victoria Jayne is the epitome of a Jersey Girl. She doesn’t [know how to] pump her own gas, enjoys pork roll, and grew up on the Jersey Shore.
She’s lived throughout the state of New Jersey and remains there with her sports journalist husband and two darling daughters.
When not writing, Victoria enjoys baking with her daughters, rooting for the New Jersey Devils, thinking of home improvement projects, and staying up far too late chatting on Discord.
