Losing something so pure far too early in life has a way of tearing you down.Left in ruin, I’ve thrown myself into my work with the church, my only focus on fulfilling a last request.
There’s only one problem – I don’t believe in God. How can I when He says ‘my kind’ are sinful? An abomination. Unrighteous.
But with a loss of this magnitude hanging over me, I don’t need to believe in what I preach. My existence is a shadow of what it once was, and the most I’m able to manage is surviving another day—uncaring if it’s my last.
Unexpectedly, I meet someone new—someone who believes in me—and my life dramatically shifts once again. But I’m still barely existing, and not sure I can survive another fall from grace.
This is a LGBT+ story with content not intended for those under 18 years of age due to graphic scenes and situations.

REVIEW: A forbidden romance that had me melting from the first sentence these two share. Ellsworth is a priest, Zaiden is a real estate agent.
Zaiden has lived in his small town all of his life, only leaving to go to college then a little travelling, but home is where his heart is, and now he’s done college, travelled, he wants to settle down and raise a family….
Ellsworth has lived in town for the past three years, he’s not happy with himself or his religion! He’s finding it harder and harder to find peace! The instant these two meet there is something between them. Zaiden is confused! He’s never had these kind of feelings before and never for a man! On the other hand Ellsworth is fully aware, and knows it’s wrong, he should stop now, but he can’t!
And so we travel down this path that’s only going to lead to heartbreak. Sneaking around to be with one another has all the makings of a disaster just waiting to happen! 😞
Another beautifully written piece of work from this author. You read with bated breath as they come together, then cry buckets of tears as it all slowly falls apart! 😢 How can Zaiden possibly be with Ellsworth when it’s forbidden by the church? And when he finally confesses why he’s at the cathedral, can they move forward? Or will Zaiden have the strength to let this man go?
The other characters although not really gotten into are Zaiden’s friends who quickly become Ellsworth’s friends too, and they are a great bunch. A few single guys in there 😉 so who knows, maybe we will come back in the future 🤞
I love all of this authors work, but the m/m stories that are being written at the moment are just the best ever.
It’s a book I’m highly recommending if you love having your heart ripped out and crying big ugly tears.
Loved this book 💜

Crea lives in upstate New York with her dog and husband. She has been writing since grade school, when her second grade teacher had her class keep writing journals. She has a habit of creating secondary, and often time tertiary, characters that take over her stories. All of her RH relationships end up being heavily polyamorous – meaning it’s not just all the men for one woman. There’s also some M/M action going on. When she can’t fall asleep at night, she thinks up new scenes for her characters to act out. This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center – and utterly swoon-worthy! Don’t ask her how many book boyfriends she has…
When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don’t even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). Sometimes, she enjoys crafting; sometimes, exploring nature; sometimes, traveling. Mostly, she enjoys putting her characters on paper and breathing life into them. Oh, and sleeping. Crea loves to sleep!
