REVIEW: MAC’S OBSESSION is this third instalment in Cala Riley’s contemporary, adult SAINTS OUTLAWS MC : PENSACOLA dark, MC romance series. This is Colin ‘ Mac’ Sheridan, and single mother Jane Anderson’s story line. MAC’S OBSESSION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Jane and Mac) MAC’S OBSESSION focuses on the protection of Jane Anderson, and her two children. Having escaped an abusive relationship, Jane and her children find themselves under the protection of the Saints Outlaws MC in Pensacola Florida but Jane continues to struggle with issues of trust knowing the man she left behind is refusing to give up.

The world building focuses on healing and protection, escaping the abuse of the past, moving forward but always leery of anyone new.

The relationship between Mac and Jane begins as a proclamation of protection. Jane and her children arrive in Pensacola, with the help of an underground trucking system, and in this, Mac discovers the woman struggling to survive is the woman that calls to his heart. There $ex scenes are limited by passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of energetic and dogged secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Saints Outlaws MC. We are introduced to Mac’s sister Bertha, and Jane’s soon to be ex Evan.

MAC’S OBSESSION is a story of power and control, abuse and vengeance, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the slow building romance is seductive; the characters are desperate and determined.
