ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 17, 2025

After betraying her club, Becki Crowley is handed over as punishment to Royal, the Kings of Anarchy’s black-clad secretary, the man who keeps the books, the secrets, and the bodies buried. What starts as revenge twists into obsession as girls begin disappearing around Pearly Gates, whispers of a Demon Leaper creep through the county, and the line between monster and man starts to blur.
While the club scrambles to hold itself together, Legend and Sophie’s once-unbreakable bond begins to crack, threatening the fragile peace keeping Hell from burning down.
Royal speaks in riddles and bleeds secrets.
Becki’s got sins she’s trying to bury.
Together, they might damn the whole town.
If you love alpha bikers, forced proximity, enemies-to-lovers heat, love triangles, knife play and twisted love stories scarred by the past, this steamy, gritty romance will leave you begging for more.
Becki
Hell, Kentucky ain’t big enough for the both of us, and I damn sure didn’t come back to be forgiven.
After I tried to tear Legend and Sophie apart, the Kings handed me over like property.
My sentence? Live under the roof of Royal, the quiet, dangerous, poetry-spitting secretary of the Kings of Anarchy MC.
I expected chains.
I didn’t expect his hands.
His knives.
Royal ain’t like the rest of them. He’s dark in a way that feels old. Protective in a way that feels dangerous. I was raised to fear fire, but he’s the one burning me alive.
And when girls like me start going missing, I realize the truth might be worse than the rumors.
Royal
Club said I could have her.
They didn’t say what to do with her.
Becki Crowley isn’t a woman you tame. She’s the kind you cage or worship, and I haven’t decided which sin I’m committing yet.
She tried to break the Kings from the inside. Now she’s mine to deal with, body, heart, and every twisted secret between us.
In Hell, Kentucky, revenge is a love language.
Protection is possession.
And I plan to speak both fluently.

REVIEW: PROPERTY OF ROYAL is the second instalment in Morgan Jane Mitchell’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY MC: KENTUCKY dark, erotic, MC romance series, a part of the multi authored KINGS OF ANARCHY MC. This is KOAMC secretary Royal, and preacher’s daughter Becki Crowley’s story line, as well as a continuing look at the struggling relationship between Legend and Sophie. PROPERTY OF ROYAL can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order as there is an ongoing premise throughout. There is a slight supernatural element to the story line. If you have not read book one, PROPERTY OF LEGEND, there may be spoilers in my review.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including knife play, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from four first person perspectives (Royal, Becki, Legend, Sophie) PROPERTY OF ROYAL follows in the wake of the imprisonment of Reverend Ezekiel Crowley’s daughter Becki Crowley, a young woman who is struggling with years of abuse, abuse that continues with her contact with the KOAMC. In the previous story line, Becki threatened Legend and Sophie, because of Sophie’s father’s connection to the religious cult known as the Pearly Gates, a connection that sees a number of missing and murdered young women going back several years. Becki is determined to prove she is not the threat to the KOAMC but a messenger that has been used and abused by the same people involved with the Pearly Gates cult. Sophie wants nothing to do with Becki but Royal is determined to protect the woman that is more like him than he could have ever imagined.

The world building follows several intersection paths that lead back to the Pearly Gates, and Hell, Kentucky. Becki’s imprisonment at the clubhouse is a threat to Sophie and Legend’s relationship, a threat that sees a history between Legend and our story line heroine.

The relationship between Royal and Becki is unconventional and atypical. Their attraction to one another is mired in a barley veiled hatred and issues of trust but Becki wants the same things as Royal, a man whose predilections run dangerous and dark. The $ex scenes are intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are questionable and deviant. Several of the members of the KOAMC return, as well as the reintroduction of Becki’s father Reverend Ezekiel Crowley.

PROPERTY OF ROYAL is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, dysfunctional family dynamics and abuse, acceptance and forgiveness. The character driven premises is dramatic and dark;there is no romance only an aggressive and growing relationship; the characters are determined, desperate and destructive. PROPERTY OF ROYAL ends on a bit of a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
