REVIEW: REACHER’S RIDE OR DIE is the second instalment in KL Ramsey’s contemporary, adult RBMC: YONKERS NY erotic, MC romance series set in the multi-authored RBMC series. This is Reacher, and RN Brandi Washington’s story line. REACHER’S RIDE OR DIE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines or series is revealed where necessary.

Told from omniscient dual third person perspectives (Reacher and Brandi) REACHER’S RIDE OR DIE follows the building relationship between Reacher and Brandi. Reacher is struggling with his place in the RBMC having lived the life of a nomad for so long but hoping to find a job and settling down, Reacher comes face to face with his MC brother Yonker’s mother’s nurse Brandi Washington, the young woman who will steal his heart. Brandi is determined to make it on her own after a contentious divorce but our heroine becomes the target of the Viper’s MC, who are determined to make Reacher pay for getting too close.

The world building is fast and furious, covering several months in the life of our couple. Reacher is hoping Brandi is his happily ever after, while Brandi is taking one day at a time in the face of keeping her job or losing it all.

The relationship between Brandi and Reacher begins acrimoniously when first introduced. Neither one trusts the other, and Brandi has already experienced the kind of betrayal that hurts the most. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters are engaging and desperate. We are introduced to Yonker’s mother Gloria, as well as the return of several members of the RBMC: Yonkers NY- President Hurricane, Beast, Ryder and Renegade. The requisite evil has many faces.

REACHER’S RIDE OR DIE is a fast paced, quick read; a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, acceptance and love The premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is passionate; the characters are determined and dynamic.
