REVIEW: RULEBREAKER is the fourth instalment in the contemporary, adult GAMEBREAKERS erotic, romance series focusing on a tight knit group of friends held together but a common loss, co-authored by Kat Mizera and Elise Faber. This is billionaire businessman Atlas Delarosa, and country singer turned pop star Lily Maxwell’s story line. RULEBREAKER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Lily and Atlas) RULEBREAKER follows the building but struggling relationship between our story line couple. Lily Maxwell is at the top of her game, travelling and touring, with little time for a relationship or anything else. Atlas Delarosa is overworked, struggling to keep his head in the proverbial game when all he wants is to claim the woman who refuses to settle down but a woman whose secrets she doesn’t want exposed. While Atlas continues to cross the country in an effort to seduce the woman with whom he is falling in love, Lily refuses to define their relationship in the face of secrets back home.

The relationship between Lily and Atlas begins as a one-night stand in which Lily ghosted our story line hero.Lily Maxwell doesn’t do relationships, too busy on the road but a deeper secret threatens more than her friendships but the growing love of a man who refuses to listen when the truth is revealed. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of charismatic and fun secondary and supporting characters including the return of Banks and Aspen, Jade and Royal, Hudson and Willow; Atlas’ PA and friend Briar; Jean-Michel Dubois and Tiffany Hernandez( Eagles Hockey: Oak Ride Vineyard).
