REVIEW: SAVAGE SUIT by Kathryn C Kelly is a stand alone, contemporary, adult, erotic, romance story line focusing on thirty-two year old, billionaire businessman Noah Keegan,and twenty-six year old advertising executive Ryan Hagen.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Noah and Ryan) SAVAGE SUIT follows the building but acrimonious relationship between thirty-two year old, billionaire businessman Noah Keegan,and twenty-six year old advertising executive Ryan Hagen. Having lost her job in the advertising industry to corporate downsizing and struggling finances, Ryan Hagen was overjoyed with a chance to interview with Keegan Enterprises but from the outset nothing went according to plan, and the fall-out over the next few months were tantamount to professional suicide. As the head of the new perfume line in memory of Noah’s mother, Ryan finds herself facing off with more than the usual number of misogynist billionaires, including the man with whom she will fall in love but the competition and fight for control finds our heroine a pawn in the world of high finance and powerful yet childish men.

The world building is complex and detailed as the reader is pulled into a macrocosm of misogyny, betrayal and vengeance, greed and business competitors, extreme dysfunctional family behaviors and values. Infidelity is rampant, heartbreak , anxiety and sorrow override the prevailing story line, and in this, everything comes at a cost.

The relationship between Noah and Ryan is tempestuous at best; passionate and heated, inflamed and provocative. Noah is a man whose past controls his present, and in this, falling in love was never in the cards. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are all questionable, untrustworthy, vengeful and histrionic. No one is likable: everyone is unpleasant, loathsome and vile-each with their own agenda, determined to ruin the lives of anyone standing in their way including both Noah and Ryan’s siblings and extended families.

SAVAGE SUIT is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, forgiveness and love. The premise is dark, dramatic and edgy; the romance struggles in the face of issues of trust; the characters are controversial yet dynamic.
