SCORED is the continuing story of The Coopers new team owner Maeve ‘Vee’ Hubbard, and NFL quarterback Griffin ‘Fin’ Graham’s story line. SCORED should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the events and cliff hanger of book three SACKED.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Fin and Vee) SCORED follows the NFL’s Lexington Coopers on their run for the Super Bowl Championship. With only a few games remaining in the season, The Coopers find themselves facing the possibility of a championship season but behind the scenes, the Hubbard family remains in turmoil as the death of Reid Hubbard had yet to be solved. Anonymous threats are sent to several members of the Hubbard family, promising the truth will be revealed.

The world building focuses on the game of professional football both on the field and behind the scenes. The large extended Hubbard family all play a role running the team now owned by our story line heroine but not everyone is happy with the final outcome.

The relationship between Fin and Vee is one of second chances. Years earlier, Fin broke our heroine’s heart but his time with the Lexington Coopers brought our couple closer together. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, questionable and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including the numerous members of the extended Cooper -Hubbard Dynasty;, as well as Fin’s parents and brother; team management, ownership, players, coaching staff, the legal teams, sportscasters, journalist, head office and the unknowns taking aim at the Hubbard family. Not everyone is whom they appear to be, and the fall-out will send the family reeling, once again.

SCORED is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, dysfunctional family dynamics, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic, engaging and detailed; the characters are desperate and resolute; the romance is seductive, provocative and impassioned.
