She’s trouble wrapped in sex appeal. He’s the agent who should’ve left her behind.

Master thief Peyton Risk is hired to steal an envelope from a Florida senator’s yacht—a job that should’ve taken ten minutes. Instead, she gets caught and is marked for death.

However, one man onboard catches her eye . . . one man who doesn’t quite belong.

Undercover FBI agent Rhett Callahan is supposed to protect his mission, not the sharp-mouthed thief who blows it apart. But when he’s ordered to kill Peyton, he turns on the men he’s been working beside.

Now they’re trapped together, hunted by powerful men, and fighting a dangerous attraction neither of them can resist.

Because Rhett knows one thing for certain: Anyone who touches Peyton dies.

REVIEW: STRAIGHT SHOOTER is the third instalment in Samantha Wilde’s contemporary, adult BAD COMPANY erotic, romantic suspense series. This is professional thief Peyton Risk, and FBI agent Rhett Callahan’s story line. STRAIGHT SHOOTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: STRAIGHT SHOOTER was previously published as Straight Shooter (Pretty Thieves) by Samantha Keith.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Peyton and Rhett) STRAIGHT SHOOTER follows professional thief Peyton Risk as she is contracted to retrieve an envelope from a Senator’s yacht but Peyton finds herself facing down whom she believes is a dirty cop only to discover Rhett Callahan is working undercover for the FBI. On the run together and forced to work together, Peyton and Rhett begin a search for the truth only to discover betrayal comes in many forms, and the only people they can trust is one another.

The world building focuses on the forced proximity and power differential between our story line couple. Working undercover on the same yacht Peyton has targeted, Rhett becomes guardian and protector of the woman with whom he will fall in love.

The relationship between Rhett and Peyton begins acrimoniously as Rhett struggles to keep his identity a secret but an order from the top threatens the life of our story line heroine, and Rhett finds himself on the run with a thief who is about to be exposed. The $ex scenes are seductive and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are determined and questionable including fellow FBI agents Eric and Mandy: contractor Max, Beanie and Moretti.

STRAIGHT SHOOTER is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, obsession and greed, relationships and love. the character driven premise is fast paced, intriguing and dramatic; the romance is passionate; the characters are desperate and dynamic.

REVIEW:FULLY LOADED is the second instalment in Samantha Wilde’s contemporary, adult BAD COMPANY romantic suspense series. This is professional thieves Dani Metcalf, and Brock Wyler’s story line. FULLY LOADED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Dani’s is the sister of Serena Metcalfe and her story begins in POINT BLANK #1

NOTE: FULLY LOADED was previously released as Fully Loaded (Pretty Thieves) by Samantha Wilde in 2020. If you have not read FULLY LOADED there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Dani and Brock) FULLY LOADED follows in the aftermath of the abduction of our story line heroine. Three months earlier, professional thief Dani Metcalf barely survived an abduction by her sister’s father in law, but in an effort to begin anew, Dani moved to Geneva, Switzerland where her foray into the European market finds her the target of some powerful people. With very few people she can trust. Dani calls the man who once broke her heart but the man who is willing to risk his life to save the life of our story line heroine. On the run together, Dani and Brock quickly discover Dani’s theft of ‘information’ could be the catalyst to destroy the world but at every turn, Dani and Brock’s whereabouts are identified and exposed, and our couple are unable to trust anyone including law enforcement around the world.

The world building follows Dani and Brock as they journey throughout Europe, in disguise and on the run, aware that both have become wanted fugitives. Marked as terrorists, Dani and Brock discover identify the who and what but trusting is another matter.

The relationship between Dani and Brock is one of second chances. Dani believes Brock betrayed her years before, and in this, her faith in any hope for the future is threatened by the people determined to take her down. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters are determined, dynamic and questionable at best. We are reintroduced to Serena and Milo (Point Blank) and FBI agent Rhett Callahan. The requisite evil has many faces.

FULLY LOADED is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, greed and ego, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and action packed; the romance is desirable; the characters are desperate and animated.
