REVIEW:BLOODFIRE RISING is the first instalment in the adult ETERNAL SINS MC dark, paranormal, fantasy romance series focusing on a group of supernatural beings, many of whom are the first of their kinds, or the only survivors of a species long thought extinct. This is Eternal Sins MC president and original vampire Draven aka Crave, and Sloane Hale, RN’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Crave and Sloane) BLOODFIRE RISING follows registered nurse Sloane Hale as she slowly becomes something more. After a harrowing day in the ER, Sloane finds herself at a local bar, Sins and Spirits, where she suspects everyone is not whom they appear to be. Meeting Eternal Sins MC president Crave pulls our heroine towards a fate she knew nothing about,a fate that pushes Sloane Hale to face s stronghold of supernatural creatures, gods and goddesses, who see Sloane as the end of the world.
The world building centers on betrayal and vengeance; a war between the supernatural powers for control; and a betrayal by a former brother determined to destroy those who walked away. The glossary reveals the background information regarding the central characters, both good and bad.
The relationship between Sloane and Crave is one of fated mates but a relationship that will become so much more. Sloane is something other, something no one has seen in eons but something that has the power to destroy them all. Having fallen for our story line heroine, Crave is willing to sacrifice for the woman that controls his heart. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.
There is a large ensemble cast of powerful, magical and supernatural secondary and supporting characters, many of whom are based in Greek Mythology. When Draven left the original Coven of Crows, he set up his own family of supernatural creatures. We are introduced to MC VP Rogue aka Lucien (Lycan), SAA Scorch aka Ash (Dragon), Enforcer Dread aka Damon (origins unknown, club Secretary Hex aka Jasper (Warlock), Treasurer Hades aka Kane (Necromancer), Spiritual guide Oracle aka Emerys (Phoenix), road captain Grizz aka Magnus (Bear Shifter), and prospect Ronan (Leprachaun); club girls Eden,Seraphine and Reyna.
BLOODFIRE RISING is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, magic and supernatural, brotherhood, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is action packed, dramatic and edgy but there is an overarching familiarity to the story line akin to the Twilight™ series, but directed at adults. The characters are powerful, determined and energetic; the romance is fated and seductive.
