ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date May 29, 2026
Isaac Baxter is one of Zodiac Tactical’s secret weapons: an operative who looks like a movie star but fights like a SEAL. Charming when it suits him. Lethal when it doesn’t.
Black-tie security for wealthy clients isn’t exactly thrilling. Spotting a pickpocket and cornering her on the dance floor changes that.
Especially when she steals his watch right off his wrist.
Fallon Hemingway isn’t just a thief, but she’s happy to let a handsome security agent think she is.
She targets the untouchable. She finds wealthy predators who destroy lives and never face consequences. She hits them silently, at the most personal level, taking what they find most valuable.
She becomes the consequence.
Fallon should stay far away from the man whose job description puts him on the wrong side of everything she does. Isaac should walk away from the woman who keeps disappearing on him.
Neither of them can stop.
But when her targets put a price on her head, the man she keeps running from might be the only one who can save her.

REVIEW:CODE NAME: LEO is the seventh instalment in Janie Crouch’s contemporary, adult ZODIAC TACTICAL romantic suspense series, focusing on the men and women who work for Zodiac Tactical-a spin off from the author’s Linear Tactical series. This is former US Army soldier turned security operative Isaac Baxter, and Fallon Hemingway’s story line. CODE NAME: LEO can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Fallon and Isaac) CODE NAME: LEO focuses on the search for the truth. Isaac Baxter had been working undercover and security for high end clients but Isaac would quickly notice a woman working the room, work that had nothing to do with the evening’s presentation. Several events, and several more times crossing paths, Isaac Baxter would begin a deep dive into the mystery woman, the woman with whom he would fall in love. Enter Fallon Hemingway, a woman on a mission to take down the people at the top.
The world building focuses on Fallon’s determination, and Isaac’s need to protect our story line heroine. Fallon appears to be working alone but Isaac will quickly discover that all is not as it appears to be. Zodiac Tactical owner will arrive on the scene, and reveal another department within the organization, foreshadowing the possibility of a spin off series.
The relationship between Isaac and Fallon is one of mutual attraction but weeks to months will pass before they will cross paths again, and in doing so, Isaac will see a different side of Fallon, a more vulnerable side that threatens her life. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The secondary and supporting characters are determined, with specialized abilities that get the work done. We are introduced to Fallon’s friend and partner Cassandra, as well as Isaac’s work partner Ryder, and the return of Ian DeRose, Zodiac’s founder and owner. The requisite evil has many faces.
CODE NAME: LEO is a story of secrets and lies, retribution and ruthlessness, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is dramatic, edgy and intriguing; the romance is seductive; the characters are desperate, determined and dangerous.
