I used to call her Angel. Now her sins are coming for my daughters.
Coin
Ten years ago, Angelica walked out. I raised our girls alone and never asked for anything—except to be left in peace.
Peace just got revoked.
My ex owes $200,000 to the kind of men who break bones for interest payments. When they came collecting, she gave them something better than money. She gave them my daughters’ names.
Wrenleigh. Sadie Jo. Fifteen and thirteen. The only things in this world I’d kill for—and die for.
The loan sharks think a single dad is an easy target. They think the quiet guy in the cut won’t fight back. They’ve never seen what happens when you threaten a father’s children.
Leah Mercer sees it, though. Sees me. The real me beneath the silence—scarred, stubborn, and desperate for something I stopped believing I deserved. But love has to wait.
Right now, I have debts to settle. And I always pay what I owe.

REVIEW: COIN’S DEBT is the third instalment in Elizabeth Knox’s contemporary, adult SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC: MORGANTOWN WV, MC romance series, set in the multi-authored SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC (SOMC). This is club secretary and single father Colton ‘Coin’ Adkins, and ER nurse Leah Mercer’s story line. COIN’S DEBT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Leah is Bloodhound’s sister (Bloodhound’s Burden 2)
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Coin and Leah) COIN’S DEBT follows in the wake of hospital visit by Coin’s eldest daughter. A broken leg, a series of overdoses, and threats against his family, find Coin on the defensive when his ex-wife’s sins come home, threatening the people Coin loves. A new relationship with Coin finds Leah the target of some powerful people but when the threats become physical, the Saint’s Outlaws MC protect their own. Meanwhile, a new street drug is claiming too many lives, and the MC is determined to stop the people in charge.
The world building follows several pathways including the return of Coins’ ex-wife, a woman who disappeared ten years earlier but the return comes with a debt, a debt that Coin is forced to repay.
The relationship between Coin and Leah is a friends to lovers but Coin struggles in the face the potential threats targeting not only his family but the woman with whom he is falling in love. Leah will become guardian and protector of Coin’s family, as the MC take down the people taking aim . The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is another large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and determined secondary and supporting characters. We are reintroduced to Coin’s daughters Wrenleigh and Sadie-Jo, as well as the return of Coin’s ex-wife Angelica.
COIN’S DEBT is a story of betrayal and vengeance, control and debt, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is fated and impassioned; the characters are dynamic and charismatic. COIN’S DEBT end on a happily ever after-for now.
