Told from dual first person perspectives (Lucas and Eliza) HIS SACRED OBSESSION follows the forbidden romance and relationship between Father Lucas Goodman, and librarian Eliza Thorne. Eliza Thorne is engaged to a man she does not love, a man with a dark and secret past but Eliza also has a secret, she is attracted to her parish priest, a man who is willing to protect Eliza any way he can. Father Lucas Goodman has been lusting after Eliza Thorne for as long as he can remember but Lucas’s devotion as a priest is as of a need to atonement for sins of the past, and his need for Eliza goes against everything he has sworn to protect.
