ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 2, 2025

She’s just trying to keep her farm running and her llamas out of trouble…

Scout isn’t sure what to do with the stranger who showed up on her farm carrying a bag of cash and weapons—so she orders her llama to knock him out. But when her nasty neighbor shows up trying to cause trouble, the stranger takes over and keeps her safe so she figures she can trust him enough. If only he wasn’t so sexy and distracting…

He’s a hitman looking for redemption…

The last thing Hudson remembers is being on a job. Then he wakes up in a strange bed with a lump on his head, wearing llama pajama pants that are just a little too tight. And oh yeah, there’s an angry-looking llama watching him through an open window. As a lethal hitman, he immediately starts calculating how to get out of his current situation—until the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen walks through the door. The idea of sticking around suddenly doesn’t seem so bad. And when it’s clear someone wants to hurt her, he decides that they’ll have to go through him—if only he can convince her to trust him. After that, he’s going to convince her to spend forever with him. And that’s going to take a Christmas miracle.

REVIEW:ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HITMAN is the third instalment in Katie Reus’ contemporary, adult HOLIDAY WITH A HITMAN romantic suspense series. This is rancher Scout Harlowe, and former Black Ops solider and assassin for hire Hudson Concord’s story line. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HITMAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Hudson and Scout) ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HITMAN follows in the wake of the arrival of Hudson Concord in Candy Cane FLorida. Believing Hudson meant to cause her problems, our hero becomes a temporary prisoner of Scout and her small pack of llamas but all is not well in Candy Cane Florida, Scout’s neighbor wants her ranch, and the threats against our heroine are dangerous and deadly. Determined to protect the woman with whom he will fall in love, Hudson becomes guardian and protector, in the guise of Scout’s new ranch hand. When the threats become personal, Hudson calls in his team of former Black Ops agents, in the hopes of taking down the people responsible.

The world building follows several paths including a long list of potential suspects from neighbors to strangers, former friends and lovers, as well as local law enforcement but all is not as it appears to be, and the threats will come from an unlikely source.

The relationship between Hudson and Scout goes from prisoner to employee to protector and lover. Someone is determined to lay claim to Scout’s ranch, a ranch she recently inherited from her late grandfather but Scout is desperate for help, and Hudson’s arrival is perfect timing with everything else falling around. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters include some of the previous story line characters: Dante and Aileen, Nestor, Theo and Lorna; rancher Zack Willman and local law enforcement including Sheriff Boyd. The requisite evil has many faces.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HITMAN is a story of betrayal and obsession, power and control, secrets and lies, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is seductive; the characters are determined and dynamic.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 22, 2024

She’s surrounded by killers…

Aileen’s parents, brother and all her neighbors have unconventional jobs to say the least. So she’s surrounded by hitmen. Is it a little strange? Sure, but so is she. And lately she finds herself looking at one of her neighbors in a new light. When the single mom asks him for a teeny tiny favor—to help her after years of being celibate—he shuts down. So she decides to throw herself back out there and start dating again.

And he’s the most intimidating of them all…

Dante has wanted Aileen for as long as he can remember, but because of her past trauma, he’s always considered her off-limits. When two different Santas try to rob her in a matter of days, then all bets are off. Something weird is going on, so he does what any good hitman would do—he takes over her protection detail. He’ll keep her under his roof, in his arms, and hopefully in his bed, while ending any and all threats to her. Too bad her nosy family keeps getting in his way. It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but danger is about to find them all.
