ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date March 19, 2026

Isla
I wanted to be loved by a biker with my whole heart, but all they ever took was my body. Somewhere along the way, I stopped recognizing the woman I’d become. Inheriting my Nanna’s rundown house is the fresh start I need. A life away from the club. Away from men who only ever take. So the last thing I need is Jackal and Shade moving into the only other house on the street…and offering me more than just help with renovations.

Shade
I’ve never thought I was worth loving. I’m grumpy, withdrawn, and come with baggage. Jackal saw through all that and loved me anyway. For me, he chose monogamy. Men like me don’t get one great love, let alone two. But I’m looking at Isla differently now…and wondering if there’s a way to love her without destroying what we’ve built.

Jackal
I fell in love with Shade the day I met him, even though he had no intention of loving me back. He wanted monogamy, and he was worth the sacrifice. But now he’s looking at Isla the same way I am. And I can’t stop imagining a life where the three of us choose each other.

Until violence hits, and we don’t know which of us is the target. We’ve been given the kind of love you only dare to hope for. And we’ll burn the world down to protect it.

REVIEW:THE HOPE WE DARE is the seventh and final instalment in Scarlett Cole aka S. Cole’s contemporary, adult IRON OUTLAWS MC: COLORADO erotic, MC romance series. This is former club girl turned veterinarian assistant Isla, and club enforcers Garrett aka Shade, and Kai aka Jackal’s story line.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including menage and same $ex scenarios, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from three first person perspectives (Isla, Shade, Jackal) THE HOPE WE DARE follows the polyamorous relationship between former club girl turn veterinarian assistant Isla, and club enforcers Garrett aka Shade, and Kai aka Jackal. Isla is a former Iron Outlaws MC club girl but months earlier, our heroine left the lifestyle realizing she was tired of being used. Upon the death of her grandmother, Isla inherited a fixer upper but never expected to come face to face with her new neighbors, club enforcers Shade and Jackal. Shade and Jackal are both bi-sexual . and in a committed same sex relationship with one another but upon witnessing an attack against our story line heroine, Jackal and Shade become guardian and protector of the woman with whom they will fall in love but all is not well, someone is targeting Isla, while someone else is targeting Jackal and Shade.

The world building follows several pathways including betrayal and vengeance, greed and obsession, same $ex relationships, and a barrage of sl*t shaming directing at our story line heroine. Isla is determined to make a new life for herself but several MC members, as well as the new people in her life, are constantly reminding Isla from where she came.

The relationship between Shade and Jackal is a same sex relationship, one in which they have kept close to their heart. As the member of the Iron Outlaws MC slowly become aware, the introduction of Isla completes their love, their home, and their own happily ever after but not everyone is happy, many seek to remind Isla about her past, while others struggle with Isla’s return to the Iron Outlaws MC. The $ex scenes are intimate, provocative and intense.

Most of the previous story line characters return in secondary and supporting roles. Families are expanding, while other battle with the ongoing drama. We are introduced to Isla’s co-worker Dr. Noah Lane, and the appearance of club girl Karlie. The requisite evil has many faces.

THE HOPE WE DARE is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and emotional; the romance is seductive and edgy; the characters are determined and charismatic.

Wren
It was supposed to be a quick job—slip into a criminal network, steal the money, vanish before anyone noticed.
Except now, I’m wedged between a furious cartel and an unrelenting FBI agent.
There’s nowhere left to run… except straight into the arms of the last people I should trust: the Iron Outlaws MC.
Yet Catfish—the biker assigned to shadow my every move—gives me attitude and quiet understanding in equal measure.
I’ve spent my life surviving systems built to erase me.
I didn’t expect a rough-edged biker with too many scars and not enough patience to be the one who sees me clearly.

Catfish
The club got hacked on my watch. Money gone.
Now I’m stuck protecting the outsider they brought in to fix it.
Wren—a hacker with no last name, no respect, and a mouth that drives me wild.
They’re off-limits. President’s orders.
And I’m already one mistake away from getting benched for good.
But when Wren is threatened, the rules go out of the window.
They become the line I’ll cross.
Because there isn’t anything I won’t do, to keep us safe.

REVIEW: THE TOUCH WE SEEK is the sixth instalment in S. Cole’s (Scarlett Cole) contemporary, adult IRON OUTLAWS MC: COLORADO erotic, MC romance series, set in the author’s IRON OUTLAWS world. This is club treasurer and secretary, thirty year old, River ā€˜Catfish’ Haines and twenty-five year old, Blackhat hacker Wren Maren’s story line. THE TOUCH WE SEEK can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Wren was first introduced in book five-THE TRUST WE BROKE.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be issues for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Wren and Catfish) THE TOUCH WE SEEK follows Wren Maren who has been under the protection of the Iron Outlaws MC: New Jersey but their whereabouts has been compromised, and Wren finds themself now under the protection of the Colorado chapter. Assigned to protect Wren, River ā€˜Catfish’ Haines discovers there is more to Wren then he could have ever imagined; a hacker whose connections to both the Cartel and FBI has placed a target on their back. On the run, and in hiding, Wren and Catfish find themselves at a disadvantage as someone is always a step ahead.

The world building follows several pathways including Wren’s non-binary identity, something everyone accepts but struggles to keep the pronouns correct. Catfish has been warned off Wren as they are a job, and not a conquest but Catfish sees something in Wren that no one else can see. As Wren and Catfish dig deeper into the dark web, a pattern begins to appear, as Wren discovers the person taking aim may be the most dangerous of them all.

The relationship between Wren and Catfish begins as protection but quickly turns into something more. Wren is determined to ensure their identity remains non-binary but their attraction to Catfish threatens the stoic actions and attitude of the Blackhat hacker. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of familiar, dynamic and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members from both Iron Outlaws MC series.

THE TOUCH WE SEEK is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is detailed and dramatic with much focus on Wren’s non-binary status. The romance is seductive; the characters are determined and desperate.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date: June 5, 2025

Quinn
Two things happened on my thirteenth birthday. My older sister went missing. And I told Smoke Callahan, the Iron Outlaws Road Captain, that it was his fault she was gone.
Fourteen years later, I still hate him.
But hate doesn’t keep me safe when the Bratva sets its sights on me.
I need protection. The kind only a ruthless, broken man like Smoke can provide.
So I make him an offer. I’ll help him recover from the burns that nearly cost him his life. In return, he keeps me breathing.
It should be simple. It isn’t.
Because the more time I spend in his orbit, the more I see the man behind the scars. The one who carries a past as heavy as mine. And when he looks at me, it’s not hatred I see in his dark eyes anymore.
It’s something far more dangerous.

Smoke
Quinn Moran was just a kid when she came at me, fists flying, blaming me for her sister’s disappearance. I let her. I deserved it.
Now she’s all grown up—sharp-tongued, stubborn as hell, and standing in my cabin, asking for my protection.
I should say no. I should send her away.
But I don’t. Because even if she still hates me, I’ll kill anyone who tries to hurt her.
Even if it means she learns the truth.
Even if it means she never forgives me.
Because she was never meant to be mine. But that won’t stop me from taking her.

Smoke’s eyes drop to his chest, and he places his hand over mine.
ā€œYou’re okay, Smoke. So am I. It’s all okay.ā€ The words are softly spoken. Soothing, like you would for a frightened child.
My heart hammers loudly in my chest, and it’s not just the adrenaline of the situation.
It’s the way I feel Smoke’s heartbeat beneath my palm. It’s the way his hand sits over mine, covering it completely, so strong and warm. It’s the way his thumb rubs over my fingers and the way his eyes darken with heat and arousal.
It’s his presence. The way we feel so…joined. His eyes raise to my lips as he runs his tongue over his lower lip.
Neither of us moves.
The world continues around us. Birds chirp, cicadas do their thing, but we’re stuck in a vortex. Swirling. Chaotic. All consuming.
ā€œThe prospects need to be protecting you,ā€ he says finally.
But his voice is gruff, layered with nuance it’s impossible to interpret.
ā€œAnd he was. Who was protecting you?ā€
ā€œI don’t need protecting.ā€
I shake my head sadly. ā€œI think you do.ā€
Smoke cups my cheeks before I have time to process, his hold firm.
ā€œFuck it,ā€ he mutters, more to himself than to me, I think.
Then, he dips his head and kisses me.
And it’s everything I ever read about.
It’s angry yet filled with the kind of passion that sweeps you up and knocks you over into the tumble of a huge wave of emotion.
My treacherous body capitulates to every small movement.
His lips stroke my mouth; I open.
His hands wrap around my waist; I throw mine around his neck.
I struggle to see anything beyond the way he feels against me.
When I step up against him, his cock lengthens and hardens against my stomach. His whole body envelops me, showing just how disparate our size difference is.
He doesn’t ask. He takes. But I’m wholeheartedly a willing participant. If anything, I want more. Every part of my body meets Smoke. If he began to strip my clothes to take me on the parched ground, I’d let him.
ā€œQuinn,ā€ he mutters against my lips as his hands roam my body, familiarizing themselves with my shape.
I’m gentle where he’s injured, but I slide my hand beneath his cut, and I’m immersed in the scent of leather and tobacco and him.
ā€œShit. No,ā€ Smoke says suddenly, lightly gripping my wrists before pushing me away from him.
The shift in his expression from need to disgust churns my stomach.
ā€œI’m sorry,ā€ I say, almost on autopilot, even though I’m not a hundred percent sure what I’m sorry for.
Hell, I’m not even sure how I fell headfirst into that kiss.
Smoke shakes his head. ā€œNot your fault. Just—we can’t do that again.ā€
Unable to come up with anything else to say, I blurt one word: ā€œOkay.ā€
Four letters that do absolutely nothing to convey the storm raging inside me right now.
ā€œOkay,ā€ he repeats.
But as I watch him stride into the house, ignoring the glass Shane left on the step, I know the fragile truce we were building is broken. And I wonder if we’ll ever truly be okay again.

She’s the one woman I can never have. Now, I’m the only man who can keep her alive.

Ember
Being the daughter of a motorcycle club president means two things—power and protection.
But it also comes with one unbreakable rule: No biker touches the president’s daughter and lives to tell about it.
Which means Hudson “Atom” Addams, the club’s brooding enforcer and the man I’ve loved half my life, will never be mine.
Until the Bratva rolls into town, demanding protection money.
Now, my father is forcing me to accept Atom’s protection.
Close quarters. Late nights. And the one man I swore I’d never beg for again.

Atom
Five years ago, the woman of my dreams laid her heart at my feet.
I wanted to claim her. Keep her. Make her mine.
Instead, I let her go.
Butcher’s warning was clear—touch his daughter, and I’d be dead before sunrise.
So I buried my need for her and turned my back.
Now, the Bratva is making a play for her bar. And to make matters worse, she’s got a boyfriend.
I should walk away. I should let her go. But I’m not that strong.
Protecting her means breaking the rules. Claiming her means starting a war.
And I’ll burn this town to the ground before I let her slip away again.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Atom and Ember) THE OATH WE TAKE follows the forbidden romance and relationship between our story line couple as the Iron Outlaws MC deal with a potential threat to the club. Approximately five years earlier, Hudson ā€˜Atom ā€˜ Addams humiliated and broke his best friend Ember Deeks’ heart in the process. Fast forward to present day, Ember Deeks is a proud bar owner, a bar in which the club is welcome but no cuts are allowed, and in this, our heroine struggles with the ongoing presence of the man who broke her heart. Hoping to move on without looking back, Ember’s most recent date ends with an attack by the Russian Bratva, and threats to our heroine and her father’s club. Determined to protect the woman he loves, Atom proclaims himself guardian and protector fearing the repercussions of his president, Ember’s dad . As the club hunts for the people responsible, the threats against Ember become dangerous and deadly, and Atom becomes the prime suspect where her father is concerned.

The world building follows several paths including the tempestuous and forbidden relationship between Atom and Ember; the search for a possible mole; and the fall-out of dysfunctional family dynamics, jealousy and greed.

The relationship between Atom and Ember is a best friends to enemies to frenemies to lovers; a rekindling friendship in the face of forbidden love, forbidden by the man in charge. Struggling to remain unobjective as the woman he loves is threatened. Atom begins an investigation of his own, only to discover a betrayer closer than he could have ever imagined. The $ex scenes are passionate and intense.

There is another large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and dynamic secondary and supporting characters including Ember’s father and club president Butcher; VP Grudge, treasurer Catfish, road captain Smoke, prospect Dice, SAA Wraith and Raven; bakery owner Quinn ; book club member Dawn; Atom’s father Wheeler, and grandfather Breaker, as well as Ember’s date Rocco. The requisite evil has many faces.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 23, 2025

Raven
I don’t know where my husband has disappeared to, but I know I’ll do anything to keep our son safe from the men he conned before he fled.
If that means moving to a small town in Colorado to live a different life, I’ll do it.
But what I wasn’t expecting was the grief-stricken biker who feels the urge to protect us both.
Even though he clearly resents every minute of it.

Wraith
Two years ago, enemies of my motorcycle club took my wife and baby daughter from me, killing me without stopping my heart.
From that day, I’ve lived for one thing.
Vengeance.
Until a single mom shows up in town with her young son, reminding me of the life I lost.
And when danger finds them, I’m forced to make the choice that will change my life forever.

REVIEW:THE GRIEF WE HOLD is the first instalment in S. Cole’s contemporary, adult IRON OUTLAWS MC: COLORADO erotic, MC romance series-a spin off from the author’s IRON OUTLAWS MC. This is SAA Wraith aka Axel, and single mother/waitress Raven’s story line.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Raven and Wraith) THE GRIEF WE HOLD follows in the wake of the murder of Wraith’s wife and daughter. Two years earlier, in an act of vengeance, the Iron Outlaws MC was targeted, killing Wraith’s wife and child in the process. In the ensuing time, Wraith has made it his mission to exact retribution on the people he holds responsible but the arrival of Raven in Colorado, stirs something deep within our story line hero. Raven, and her five year old son Fen are on the run, hiding from a man whose own life is spiralling out of control but Raven’s is determined to protect her son at all costs, even if that means running again if she is found. Wraith is determined to become guardian and protector of Raven and Fen, but there is a target on Raven’s back, and more than one person is taking aim at our story line heroine.

The world building follows several paths including Wraith’s inability to let go of the past but saying that, someone else is determined to keep Wraith from moving forward, and in doing so threatens the livelihood of our story line heroine. As Raven struggles to move on from the darkness, Wraith continues to fall back into the nightmare that was.

The relationship between Wraith and Raven is one of immediate attraction but Raven refuses to bow down to a man she sees as nothing but trouble. Respect has to be earned, and in this, Raven finds herself at odds with actions of our hero, a man who struggles to move forward. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of energetic and colorful secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to the members of the Iron Outlaws MC: Colorado including the president Butcher, VP Grudge, enforcer Atom, treasurer Catfish, road captain Smoke ,mechanic Dice, as well as several prospects.

THE GRIEF WE HOLD is a story of betrayal and vengeance, grief and loss, secrets and lies, fear and misunderstanding, acceptance and love. The premise is dramatic and emotional; the romance is fated and arousing with scenes of voyeurism; the characters are desperate and animated.

The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talentedĀ Luke Wessman at theĀ Wooster Street Social ClubĀ (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.

I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I’m getting the chance to follow that dream.
