ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date APRIL 9, 2026
Roxy Vale is done with bad boys. Done with broken promises. Trusting herself is the only reason she’s still standing.
When her tire blows out on a deserted highway outside Tombstone, a biker with zero patience stops to help. She knows better than to mistake it for kindness.
Cactus is nothing like the boys she’s learned to survive. Rude. Suspicious.
The kind of man who notices too much.
She says she’s temporary. Cactus treats her like a problem anyway.
Temporary has a way of lasting longer than it should. The more time Roxy spends in Tombstone, the harder she is to keep at a distance.
Cactus doesn’t save people. He doesn’t get attached—but something about her keeps his attention.
Roxy has never been anyone’s priority. Trusting a man like Cactus was never part of the plan.
Some sparks burn bright. Others burn slow until they catch—tearing through everything in their path.
Nothing about them comes easy— not trust, not connection, not even the way they start to care. Falling for a man like Cactus might cost her everything.

REVIEW:CACTUS’S PRICK is the first instalment in J. Wines’ contemporary, adult SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC: TOMBSTONE dark, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC series. This is Sargent at Arms, Grant aka Cactus, and waitress Roxy’s story line.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Roxy and Cactus) CACTUS’S PRICK follows the building but acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. Roxy has had enough, and ran from the man who destroyed her life. ON the run , leaving New Jersey behind, Roxy lands in Tombstone Arizona, just as her car decided to give up on life. Laying low, Roxy found herself working at the local diner , taking refuge at a questionable motel wherein she will come face to face with her future in the guise of SAA Cactus but Roxy’s past refuses to let go, and the Saint’s Outlaws MC is facing down a new power in the fight for control.
The world building focuses on the small town of Tombstone, tourist attractions, the Saint’s Outlaws MC , the Cartel, and a biker gang that is determined to control them all. When Roxy is targeted, Cactus gets help from the Saint’s Outlaws MC but Roxy is not the only person on someone else’s radar.
The relationship between Roxy and Cactus begins acrimoniously. Cactus doesn’t do relationships, and Roxy wants nothing to do with controlling men having seen her fair share of issues working for other MCs. Falling for Cactus was never on the horizon but our heroine found herself falling for a man who would claim her heart. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate-the palpable attraction was missing.
We are introduced to Cactus’s sister Angelica, and her daughter Bri, as well as club president Scorpion; MC members Eights, Aces, Flash; Huckleberry; Tumbleweed; waitress Lulu and Francene, as well as Roxy’s ex Jimmy.
CACTUS’S PRICK is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, betrayal and obsession, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and suspenseful; the romance is seductive; the characters are desperate and determined yet I often felt disconnected;. CACTUS’S PRICK ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
