ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date May 6, 2025
Weddings. I spend every working minute talking and writing about them, when just the thought of one makes me want to scream. After my fiancé abandoned me at the altar last year, my dream job at Bride magazine has turned into a reoccurring nightmare.
To add insult to injury, the bridezilla at my latest assignment, somehow roped me into filling in for a missing bridesmaid. Of course, I had to get paired with the most gorgeous groomsman. Wilder Hayes is perfect-except when he opens his mouth and we end up bickering all evening. That is, until the coat closet incident.
At least I’ll never have to see him again. Or so I think… Until I walk into work on Monday and find out Wilder isn’t just a jerk, he’s also my boss’s son. And I’ll be spending the rest of the season working with him at every single wedding I cover this year.
It’s a match made in heaven . . . or hell. Only time will tell.

REVIEW:JILTED by Vi Keeland is a contemporary, stand alone, erotic, romance story line focusing on former professional British rugby player Wilder Hayes, and twenty-six year old, Bride magazine journalist Sloane Carrick.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Wilder and Sloane) JILTED follows Bride magazine journalist Sloane Carrick as she is tasked with journaling the weddings of twelve best friends, writing about everything from food to clothing, friends and relationships but Sloane never expected to come face to face with her future in the guise of former professional rugby player Wilder Hayes, the man with whom Sloane will fall in love. From the outset, Sloane is trepidatious having been burned in the past but Wilder Hayes is determined to prove she is worthy of a second chance.
The world building focuses on the back and forth, up and down relationship between Sloane and Wilder. Not only does Sloane work for the magazine but she has her own bridal podcast, and works part time in the family business. Wilder is determined to claim Sloane as his own but the demons from his past refuse to let go, and when Sloane discovers Wilder’s father own the Bride magazine, our heroine refuses to cross the invisible line by sleeping with the boss’s son.
The relationship between Sloane and Wilder begins acrimoniously as Sloane has no idea as to Wilder’s fame and reputation. Wilder new immediately that Sloane was the woman to call to his heart but heart break and betrayal sit at the forefront of a previous love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
The secondary and supporting characters are energetic and dynamic. We are introduced to Wilder’s best friend Andrew; his half brother Lucas, and their father Ted Hayes; Sloane’s brothers Travis, Will, and Will’s daughter Olivia, and their father Harry; as well as Sloane’s best friend and co-worker Elijah.
JILTED is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and jealousy, love and loss, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is thought provoking, real and inviting; the romance is spicy and spirited; the characters are sassy and charismatic.
