Her friend has disappeared…
Clover is convinced that a low-life criminal hurt her friend—or worse—and she refuses to let it go. Even if that means walking into a nest of vipers. She knows how to wear a mask. She’s been doing it most of her life. So she gets a job at the man’s bar to study his operation and find out what happened to her friend. To her never-ending annoyance, she’s forced to turn to the irresistible hacker who tempts her on every level—even if she can never have him.
And she’s going to find her no matter what…
Micah Knight isn’t sure when it happened, but he’s fallen hard for the innocent-looking Clover who’s anything but. Unfortunately she won’t listen to reason, won’t let him just do his job and investigate the man she thinks made her friend disappear. Making things even more complicated, the suspect is an informant for the Feds, so they have to tread carefully. But it turns out the truth is far bigger, stranger and more dangerous than either of them could have imagined. And it’s going to take everything they have to survive the coming storm.

REVIEW:KNIGHT’S OBSESSION is the second instalment in Katie Reus’ contemporary, adult SANCTUARY FALLS romantic suspense series. This is PI Micah Knight, and Clover Storm’s story line. KNIGHT’S OBSESSION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Clover is the sister of Nick Storm, and Micah is the brother of Berkley Knight (Knight’s Storm #1)
Told from several omniscient third person perspectives including Micah and Clover, KNIGHT’S OBSESSION follows the search and rescue of our heroine’s friend Ilena Grady. Clover Storm is determined to prove her friend’s boss is the man responsible for the possible abduction of Ilene Grady but Clover needs help. Enter PI Micah Knight, the man with whom Clover will fall in love. As Clover and Micah begin their search for Ilena, the truth reveals a darker betrayal , and a trail of jealousy and greed.
The world building focuses on the search and rescue, and the revelation of the truth but with law enforcement and the FBI on their trail, Micah and Clover find themselves in hiding, in an effort to prove there is more to the case than anyone could have ever imagined
The relationship between Clover and Micah begins as almost in-laws. Their respective siblings are engaged, and Clover needs help to find her missing friend. Micah is reluctant to get involved but when he discovers Clover is willing to walk into trouble, Micah becomes guardian and protector of the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including Nick and Berkley; Micah’s other siblings Apollo, Cormac, and Krystal; Maeve Morrow, Ilena and her sister Taryn; FBI agents Lee and Miln, and attorney Sinead Goode.
KNIGHT’S OBSESSION is a story of betrayal and greed, secrets and lies, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and tragic; the romance is seductive and subtle; the characters are dynamic and charismatic.
