REVIEW:PROPERTY OF SCAR is the second instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY MC: NEW HAMPSHIRE dark, erotic, paranormal, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored Kings of Anarchy MC series. This is five-hundred year old, KOAMC vice president and vampire Cassian ‘Scar’ Visconti, and hunter / Dhampir Calypso ‘Cali’ Kavari’s story line. PROPERTY OF SCAR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Cali and Scar) PROPERTY OF SCAR follows in the wake of a series of attacks by a group of rogue vampires. Calypso ‘Cali’ Kavari is a dhampir, part vampire / part human and a woman trained to hunt vampires but a series of runes and scars mark the rogue vampires as ‘something else’ and desperate for help, Cali approaches the all -supernatural Kings of Anarchy MC: New Hampshire for information about what is happening and why. Cassian ‘Scar’ Visconti immediately recognizes the symbols, and the KOAMC find themselves beholding to the Seelie Court when information is traded for a price. A familiar name and face returns from the past, and with it, the grief and guilt of loss threatens to destroy our story line hero.

The world building focuses on the supernatural members of the KOAMC: New Hampshire, several hundreds of years old, having watched humanity from afar. Each member has a special power and ability, and a set of laws that governs the actions of everyone involved. When Cali reveals the symbols and marks found on one of the rogue vampires, the oldest members of the MC, including five hundred year old vampire Scar, immediately recognize the potential problem and powers they are about to face.

The relationship between Cali and Scar is an enemies to friends to lovers as Scar would normally be a target of our story line heroine but Cali knows the MC are not the usual suspects when it comes to rampant violence and murder, and in this, our heroine will work alongside Scar and the members of the MC to take down a powerful monster aiming his sights on our story line hero. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

Once again, here is a large ensemble and diverse cast of energetic and powerful supernatural creatures including dragons, vampires, fae, leprechaun, werewolf, wendigo, serpent shifter, forest spirit, phoenix, kitsune, Angel, nymph, selkie, witch, a shapeshifter, and the introduction of the Seelie Queen Tatiana.

PROPERTY OF SCAR is an action packed story of power and control, magic and mayhem, friendships and family, relationships and love. The character driven premise is dark, gritty and edgy; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are preternatural, mystic and magical; the romance is limited but seductive.
