REVIEW: PREACHER’S PROPERTY is the ninth novella in Landry Hill’s contemporary, adult SAVAGE KNIGHTS MC: NW erotic, MC romance series. This is Jordyn ‘Preacher’ Clark, and Chassie Shumer’s story line. PREACHER’S PROPERTY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Preacher and Chassie) PREACHER’S PROPERTY follows the building but acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. A night out with her best friend Payton brings Chassie up close and personal with our story line hero but Preacher is about to mistake Chassie for someone she is not, and all bets are off as Preacher is determined to claim Chassie as his own. When Chassie’s ex boyfriend refuses to let go, Preacher finds himself on the wrong end of the law but all is not as it appears to be.

The world building is fast, covering but a few days in the life. Chassie’s best friend Payton is the girlfriend of Preacher’s MC brother Cage, and while Cage is on a run, Preacher becomes guardian and protector of Chassie and Payton, bringing Chassie and Preacher closer together.

The relationship between Chassie and Preacher is acrimonious at best. From the outset, Preacher’s introduction to Chassie threatens our heroine’s sense of self, and in this Chassie is determined to make Preacher work for everything he wants. The $ex scenes are limited but provocative .

The interesting secondary and supporting characters include Chassie’s best friend Payton and MC brother Cage, Payton’s sister Meg, Dakota, and Chassie’s ex Dusty.

PREACHER’S PROPERTY is a fast paced, quick read. A story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and power, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is interesting,and entertaining; the romance is limited but seductive; the characters are determined and energetic.

REVIEW: ROGUE’S PROPERTY is the eighth novella in Landry Hill’s contemporary, adult SAVAGE KNIGHTS MC: NW erotic, MC romance series. This is former US soldier, thirty-six year old, Xander ‘Rogue’ Zegman, and twenty-one year old, waitress Izabelle ‘Izzy’s story line. ROGUE’S PROPERTY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross over with the events of LINK’S PROPERTY

Told from dual first person perspectives (Izzy and Rogue) ROGUE’S PROPERTY follows in the wake of threats against our story line heroine. For close to fourteen months waitress Izzy has been in a relationship with a man she knows as Dr. Alex Baker but our heroine will discover Dr. Baker has a wife, is married, and refuses to let Izzy go. With the help of her best friend Shayna (Link’s Property) , Izzy finds herself with a protector in the form of Savage Knights MC member Xander ‘Rogue’ Zegman but all is not as it appears to be, when Rogue discovers the truth about Dr. Alex Baker.

The world building focuses on the protection of our story line heroine from a man who professed his love and need for our story line heroine but once his secret is revealed, Izzy refuses to forgive and forget, eventually finding herself under the protection of the Savage Knights MC.

The relationship between Izzy and Rogue begins as protection but one of immediate attraction between our story line couple. Rogue knows immediately Izzy is the woman that calls to his heart, determined to protect our heroine from her obsessed ex. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

The secondary and supporting characters are energetic, charismatic and sometimes questionable. We are introduced to Izzy’s co-worker Viv, Dr. Alex Baker, and Rogue’s estranged family-father William Zegman, brother Davis, and his wife Kara:as well as several members of the Savage Knights MC including King, Cage, Linc and Shayna, Ripper, Dagger and Bones.

ROGUE’S PROPERTY is a quick read; a fast paced story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness; family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and twisted-a twist I saw early on ; the characters are determined and animated; the romance is seductive and fated. For a novella length story, ROGUE’S PROPERTY packed a lot detail and punch.
