THE ACCIDENTAL DATING EXPERIMENT is a familiar story of family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is endearing and entertaining but one that has been done over and over; the romance passionate; the characters are energetic.

A series of role playing games pulls our couple closer together but seven days would end with Gabe walking away with a broken heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and erotic but I dislike the use of a certain four-letter work, used only once, more for shock value than anything else.

The secondary and supporting characters are fun and fascinating, many of whom we have met in the author’s interconnected series.

THE GOOD GUY CHALLENGE is a story of desire and attraction, love and happily ever after. The premise is entertaining and captivating but predictable ; the romance is steamy and hot; the characters are charismatic and fun.

What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Drew and Brooke, and the fall-out as Brooke is pushed to the side for the sake of the game.

The relationship between Drew and Brooke is one of immediate attraction. Our couple met on the beach, and the sparks ignited an immediate flame, a flame that must be hidden from management and friends. Brooke knows that to get involved with one of the players could mean the end of her career but our couple were willing to risk their hearts for more time together. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Drew’s teammates, his family, as well as Brooke’s sister Cara.
