LAST CHANCE AT LOVE by DM Earl
Not believing in such a thing as good luck since his life has always sucked, Slick takes one more chance at love. The one thing that’s holding him back from being one hundred percent in, is his past, especially his dark part in it. To clear the road to redemption you have to want to face your demons. And Slick has plenty he doesn’t want to introduce Lucy or Atlas in regard to his past life though if he wants a future with them both it’s definitely time to suck it up and make amends

REVIEW: LAST CHANCE AT LOVE by DM Earl is a novella set in the author’s GRIMM WOLVES MC series, and a part of the multi-authored anthology BIKER IN MY BED. This is Slick aka Cletus Jennings, and stripper/housecleaner / single mother Lucy’s aka Cashmere story line. Cletus Jennings first appeared in TAZ, book three of the DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC series.
NOTE: If you have not read TAZ, there may be spoilers in my review.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Cletus and Lucy) LAST CHANCE AT LOVE focuses on Cletus aka Slick’s need to apologize for sins of the past involving his ex Raquel ‘Taz’ Smith and the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. As a former member of a white-supremacist group Cletus Jennings destroyed many lives including the life of the woman he once loved but in an effort to prove he is a changed man, and worthy of Lucy’s love, Cletus offers up some information, that will likely put a target on his back. Apologies for the damaged he caused threatens to break his tenuous hold on the who holds his heart.
The world building reveals a little bit about the past including some of the events that would set Cletus towards a different path. For a better understanding, I recommend reading TAZ (Devil’s Handmaidens MC) as the premise of LAST CHANCE AT LOVE are predicated upon the events of TAZ.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Grimm Wolves MC, and cameos from Enforcer and Taz.
LAST CHANCE AT LOVE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, acceptance and forgiveness, understanding and love. The fast paced premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance struggles in the face of reality and the truth; the characters are broken but struggling to heal.

FOREVER KIND OF LOVE by KE Osborn

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hurricane & Kaia) FOREVER KIND OF LOVE follows NOLA Defiance MC president Hurricane and his wife /old lady Kaia on their long-awaited honeymoon in Hawaii. A visit to the local chapter of Defiance MC on the island finds Hurricane on assignment to rescue the daughter of the Oahu MC but when he fails, Kaia takes it upon herself to save a woman who doesn’t want to be saved.
We are introduced to several members of the Oahu Defiance MC, as well as their president’s daughter Nalani who found herself involved with a Chinese gang known as The Ministry.
FOREVER KIND OF LOVE is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and power, forgiveness and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and entertaining; the ongoing romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are familiar and determined.

REVIEW: LOVE BITES by Kristine Allen is a novella found in the author’s DEMENTED SONS MC: TEXAS, and a part of the multi-authored BIKER IN MY BED anthology. This is twenty-nine year old former US solider/ mechanic Max ‘Royal ‘ Windsor, and Luna Levine’s story line.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Royal and Luna) LOVE BITES follows in the wake of Royal moving back home to Texas in the wake of catching his ex-girlfriend cheating with the neighbor. As the newest member of the Demented Sons MC Texas, Royal needed a place to live, and staying with his sister was about to get a whole lot of interesting when she signed him up on a dating app, and the messages started to come through. One night with Luna was all it took but a Thanksgiving dinner with the club would reveal a few secrets that were never supposed to be exposed.
The relationship between Luna and Royal begins as a matchup that will quickly turn into something more but Luna is good at keeping secrets, and her biggest secret may threaten the people she loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.
We are reintroduced to several member of the DEMENTED SONS MC: TEXAS as well as Royal’s sister Lacie, and Luna’s father.
LOVE BITES is a story of secrets and lies, obsession and want, family and friendships. The fast paced premise is captivating and engaging reading like the prequel to Luna and Royal’s story; the romance is limited; the characters are desperate and determined. LOVE BITES ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
