Rev Crowley rules with an iron fist, and has control of local law enforcement and politicians, threatening anyone who gets in his way.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Whiskey and Twila) PROPERTY OF WHISKEY follows in the wake of another missing young woman, thought to have been abducted by the followers of Rev Crowley. Without proof, and rumors of another runaway teen, the local Sheriff battles between head and heart, fearing repercussions from the Pearly Gates, believing the Kings of Anarchy MC are involved but all is not as it appears to be when Deputy Twila Twix, the sheriff’s daughter begins a search of her own, only to find herself a virtual prisoner of our story line hero. Whiskey Weller and the KOAMC are all too aware of the Rev Crowley’s history and determination, having rescued several women thought to be lost or gone but Whiskey finds himself falling for our story line heroine as she endeavors to uncover the truth, with or without the Sheriff’s help.

The world building continues to focus on the religious cult known as the Pearly Gates and their leader the Reverand Ezekiel Crowley. While local law enforcement fear retaliation and making good on the threats against family and friends, Twila and the Kings of Anarchy MC begin a search of their own, with the help from an unlikely source.

There is a slight nod to a potential supernatural element, hinted at in previous instalments but again, there is no revelation or proof, only speculation and a bit of a red-herring.

The relationship between Whiskey and Twila begins acrimoniously. Twila has been blinded to the rumors about the local MC, and when she finds herself a virtual prisoner of Whiskey Weller, reality of her situation reveals a man who is hoping to take down the people responsible for destroying their community. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative.

The secondary and supporting characters are numerous, energetic and determined. We are reintroduced to Several MC members including Bullet ,Holler and Lottie, Legend and Sophie , Royal and Becki, Oaks and Brittany, Derby and Legend’s sister Amelia, Twila’s ex Cal Mercer, her father Sheriff Amos Dix, Whiskey’s daughter Wren, and her mother, Holler’s sister Beth; cult survivor Kaylee Quill, and the return of Reverand Crowley.

PROPERTY OF WHISKEY is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, madness and obsession, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic, dark and edgy; the romance is seductive and passionate; the characters are desperate, dynamic and decisive. PROPERTY OF WHISKEY ends on a happily ever after-for now, the Pearly Gates conflict and premise has yet to be resolved.

Weeks will pass with only brutal images and heart break for our story line hero who is struggling with the possibility of never seeing his wife again but with the help of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC and the Grimm Wolves MC, a hunt for Stella brings more disbelief and betrayal for our story line hero.

The world building follows Incubus’ spiral as he struggles with the reality of what is happening. Each chance at a rescue is met with his wife’s disappearance, and the betrayal continues to send Incubus deeper into the dark. Stella battles with the demons that refuse to let go, demons that are determined to break our story line couple.

The relationship between Incubus and Stella has been previously established. Our couple spend the majority of the story line separated-Stella as a prisoner, Incubus as a man rapidly breaking without the woman he loves. There are no $ex scenes between our story line couple.

There is another large ensemble cast of determined and desperate secondary and supporting characters including many of whom we met in the previous instalment: the KOAMC: Indiana, Devil’s Handmaidens MC, Grimm Wolves MC, the mob; Incubus’ sister Maeve, and Stella and Incubus’ daughter Isabella. REVIEW: THUNDER is the first instalment in Elizabeth Knox’s contemporary, adult SHOTGUN SAINTS MC: KINGS OF THE ROAD erotic, cowboy, MC, romance series, a spin off set in the author’s SHOTGUN SAINTS world, which in turn is set in the Reaper’s Rejects Worlds. This is SAA Thunder, and twenty-two year old, cattle breeder Presley Hutchins Lyle’s story line. THUNDER should not be read as a stand alone, it is recommended to read Presley’s novella, found in the SHOTGUN SAINTS MC: The Complete Series boxset, as well as PHANTOM book three. Working for the Shotgun Saints MC cattle breeding program, Presley finds herself on the outside looking in but for one man who is struggling to accept he is no longer able to do his duties to the club . An organization known as The Firm is taking aim, and the Shotgun Saints MC may be facing their most dangerous foe to date. Meanwhile, Presley and Thunder’s relationship crosses the line of no return, and with it, incurs the wrath of the man in charge.

The world building focuses on animal husbandry, the rejection by family for a perceived betrayal, and the protection of the members and their family of the Shotgun Saints MC. We are witness to rebuff of an innocent woman caught in the crossfire between family members, and the search for a woman, everyone knows is dead and buried. The original conflicts continue into the new spin off, conflicts that will pit the members against a foe they can not take down.

The relationship between Thunder and Presley is one of the forbidden. Presley is the youngest daughter of MC president Phantom, and as such, is off limits to the members of the MC. Thunder is a single father whose attraction to Presley has been stifled by a possible career ending injury but Thunder is determined to work-through the pain and humiliation as watches from the sidelines as the woman he loves suffers at the hands of the people who refuse to accept her existence. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is another large ensemble cast of familiar, colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we met in the original SHOTGUN SAINTS MC series including president Phantom and his wife Marlena, road captain Banshee and Bex, Shadow and Grace, Rogue and Hadley, Phantom’s son and Presley’s half-brother Shiver (Reaper’s Rejects MC), as well as Spur and Dakota, and Thunder’s daughter Raine.

REVIEW:YAK is the first instalment in Cala Riley’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY: OAKHEART ONTARIO erotic, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored Kings of Anarchy MC. This is Jameson ‘Yak’ Taylor, and twenty-five year old PA Julie Corday’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Yak and Julie) YAK follows the forbidden relationship between our story line couple. A night on the town with a co-worker finds our heroine in need of rescuing-enter Jameson ‘Yak’ Taylor, the newest members of the Kings of Anarchy MC-Oakheart Ontario, and the man with whom Julie will fall in love. Not one but twice Julie is on the receiving end of unwanted attention, and in this, Yak becomes guardian and protect of the woman with whom he will fall in love but all is not well within the KOAMC, and the member must go on the offensive to ferret out a possible betrayer.

The world building focuses on the hierarchy in the KOAMC: Oakheart, and the potential for a betrayal against the people at the top. Drugs and weapons are their main source of income but with it comes the usual threats, and recriminations on the wrong side of the law.

The relationship between Julie and Yak begins as a rescue. Out with a friend, Julie finds herself assaulted, and Yak is determined to save her life. Frightened and somewhat oblivious to the world of the MC, Julie is pulled into a lifestyle she knows little about but Julie’s father is the local chief of police, and the MC is not very high on his list of trustworthy friends. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, determined and often questionable secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to the Kings of Anarchy : Oakheart President and Yak’s brother Bennett ‘Yooper’ Taylor, Aragon, Goose, Canuck, Poutine,IT specialist Predator, SAA Yukon, Sap, Timbit, Tailgunner Wolverine, Mowtown, as well as Julie’s father Chief Benjamin Corday, his second in command Ray Overstreet, Julie’s co-worker Lisa and friend Liz, and several of Yak’s former brothers with another MC.

YAK is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, loss and grief, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic and gritty; the romance is edgy; the characters are desperate, dynamic and charismatic.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and determined secondary and supporting characters including the member of the IRON OUTLAWS MC : Iron Outlaws MC: Florida president Knox, and his ol’ lady Maren Caldwell, and the introduction of Daisy’s daughter Elsie. The requisite evil has many faces.

Scarlett Cole is a contemporary romance author that calls both Toronto, Canada and Manchester, England home. A born city dweller, she periodically quashes the urge to live in the country by hiking up a mountain to remind herself that living away from people would terrify the pants off her.

She believes everybody deserves their love story to be told and loves her heroes on the rough and rugged side…and usually tall (because she married one of those 6ft 6” men you read about in romance books!). She’s an A-type personality and Scorpio star sign, so good luck getting her to do anything she doesn’t want to.

When she isn’t writing, she’s happy to talk about hot men and expensive shoes while drinking a cold gin and tonic. Don’t bring up olives. As far as Scarlett is concerned, they are the devil’s food. As long as you don’t bring up olives, she’s happy to hear from you any time.
