REVIEW:The Men of Inked Sinners is back at it again with the latest installment. Desire is the fifth installment of the series by Chelle Bliss. As always, I do recommend reading a series in order to get the most out of it; however each book in the series can be read as a standalone in an interconnected world.

Mason Gallo is a forever bachelor, the family playboy, the one who no one thinks is going to settle down. Well that all changes with Lizzy Evans, Hunter’s sister from the previous book. Mason is hooked from the first meet and wants nothing more than to pursue Lizzy, except she doesn’t live in Chicago, she lives nearly four hours away in the small-town of Star Falls. With Lizzy’s only family making Chicago their forever home, she starts wondering why she’s staying in the small-town all alone. She already makes the trek to Chicago as often as she can, so what exactly is holding her back? Mason turns up the Gallo charm and his “friendship” with Lizzy hangs by a thread between friends and lovers, but he wants her to want their relationship for the right reason, not just from the pressure from the family. Does Lizzy make the move to Chicago and does Mason finally get his dream girl?

Chelle is a long time favorite author for me. There is just something about reading a series that feels like visiting friends, the coziness, the warm and tingling feeling you are left with when the read is done. Chelle always delivers a great story with memorable characters that leave lasting impressions, and this always has me coming back for the next book. I’ve been reading the Gallo’s from the get-go and I could never see myself not wanting to read the next installment, it’s like pistachios, you can never just have one! 😉

REVIEW:Back in the saddle we go with the Gallo Family. Book four in the Men of Inked Sinner series, Wish is the story of Zoey and Hunter. As always, I recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it, but each book can be read as a standalone in the interconnected series.

Zoey has had so really crapping luck with men, her latest (ex) boyfriend is now in jail after taking hands to her, and we all know how the Gallo’s take to that. She has learned the hard way that men outside of her family just can’t be trusted with her heart and maybe being alone isn’t as bad as it seems. That is until she sees her sister with her new baby and is reminded how badly she too wants that one day. Enter Hunter.

Hunter is new to town and taking up a job with her cousin Tate, who of course decides to play matchmatcher. Did I mention Hunter is also Zoey’s new neighbor? Yup that’s right, the single dad next door. Hunter however is dealing with a lot of family drama and isn’t sure if he is up to a new relationship. After all, he moved to Chicago to be closer to his daughter while her mother fights cancer. Slowly though, Hunter and Zoey start spending more time together and their chemistry builds quickly, then as life does, drama ensues. Zoey’s ex makes an appearance and starts stalking her and causing all kinds of issues, now Hunter has to decide if he can handle the drama of that and his own drama at the same time.

As always, the Gallo Family has some crazy family dynamics, but ones we all secretly wish for. I loved Hunter’s daughter, she’s a sweetie who added such warmth to the story. The added suspense from Zoey’s ex was an interesting turn, but poor Hunter just didn’t know what he was getting into with this family. I’m looking forward to seeing how the series finishes.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 1, 2025

Can a chance encounter with a bossy, tattooed hunk turn into a happily ever after?

Lulu Gallo doesn’t spend time daydreaming about romance, she’s too busy becoming a self-made woman. But on the way to meeting with a new client, a pothole takes out her tire, sending her on a path she never saw coming.

Oliver has always been a loner. He prefers spending his days getting his hands dirty and helping strangers in need. But what started out as a normal call, has Oliver saving the life of a beautiful stranger and changing his destiny forever.

But when someone threatens Lulu and the ones she loves, Oliver will do anything to protect her even if it means giving up his freedom and their happily ever after.

REVIEW: The next installment of the Men of Inked: Sinner series, Need is a fast paced, action packed, swoony romance. As always I recommend reading a series in order, but each book is a standalone in the interconnected series.

Lulu is a professional planner, she lives and breathes all things organization, when her car breaks down on the side of a random road, she is less than pleased. She calls a tow, as one does and gets handsome loaner Oliver to the rescue. The man, quite literally saves her life, and then makes it his mission to keep her safe. Even for a Gallo girl, Lulu is stunned, she can take care of herself, but with Oliver, there is just something about him that makes her feel a certain way.

It’s always nice to visit with characters from previous books, and the Gallos will always hold a special place in my heart. Their tight knit family, love and loyalty for one another and their willingness to go as far as they need to protect their own, it’s what makes the series so enjoyable. Lulu and Oliver have this quiet chemistry between them, their attraction is palpable, but it’s also an unspoken bond they have. When Oliver protects Lulu’s sister, it means more to her than she can say, and really shows her the kind of man Oliver is.

The plot was easy to follow, the spicy moments good, the angst and banter really made the story what it is though. Overall very pleased with the newest addition to the series and can’t wait for more.
