REVIEW:Hell Hath No Fury is the sixth and final installment in the Ends Work series by MercyAnn Summers. HHNF can be read as a standalone, but it is part of an interconnected series of books that are better read in a series. Check the trigger warning before reading, as per the others in the series, this too is a dark, mafia romance.
We are back at it with the FAAFO gang, and this time it’s all about Lilith and Antonio. After what happened in the novella (Chameleon) we see a change in the group dynamic, one that honestly shocked the s*** out of me. Lilith wasn’t a character I gravitated towards, she was cold and down right nuts in parts of the series, but now I am starting to see why. And no one is prepared for her now. Now she is on a warpath and everyone needs to just move outta the way. This woman is unhinged,
Antonio is Lilith’s past, present and future. These two have decades worth of history, of love, and of pain, but all it begins and ends together. While Lilith can be cold and distant, Antonio knows when to be warm and close, when she needs his gentle love, and when she needs his hard…attention. To simply call them a couple feels like an oversimplification, Antonio has yearned for her.
While the storyline is a labyrinth of crazy twists and turns, secrets and danger, loss and love, the banter from the FAAFO is LIFE. Having the group together again felt like the best way to end an amazing series, well that and the top tier spice. Iv read some spicy dark romance books, but whee oh whee this one is claiming a spot in the top five. So. Much. Kink. I have found a new die hard author and I am happy to live in the world she makes.

REVIEW:What Doesn’t Kill Us is the second installment of the Being Ends Duet. This is a dark, enemies to lovers romance series, so make sure you check your trigger warnings before diving in. Book one “Ends of Being” is MUST read, if you have not, be ready to be a little lost.
This book starts right back up where the first book left off, talk about a freaking cliffhanger too. The drama, the angst, the spicy twists, nothing you would ever see coming. We go right back to Dare being MIA, and the group trying to find him, when they do finally get word on his location, it’s not where they expect. (no spoilers) The crazy bunch as I like to call them, Toni, Tony, Lilith and Matt devise a plan of getting to Dare, but what needs to be done they don’t know. Does he need help? Is he there by choice? Who came after Toni? One thing they do know is that they have know idea of what the hell is going on.
Toni and Dare are a freaking mind-f**k, I loved them, then I was on the fence, then I was ready to kick Dare’s booty, just wow. What a freaking whirlwind, this story has all the twists and turns, it’s diabolical in certain chapters, and the characters are interesting and engaging, making the reader want to read more and more. The guys in this book really live up to the “Burn it down” for their woman vibe, and truly, I am all here for it. Feral is the best word I can think of to best describe it.

Camilla and Kaian story is a fast paced mafia romance where our girl gets her stalker on for Kaian. These two have a true love-hate relationship that plays a major part in their relationship. At first Camilla comes off as a little standoffish, but that’s due to Kaian being in the Irish mafia, when she finally can’t stand the distance anymore, she goes into full stalker mode (with the help of her girl gang of course).
I laughed so much during this spicy read! The banter was -chief’s kiss, towards the end we find out Camilla has a secret, and DAMN worth the wait!

MercyAnn Summers has been writing in one capacity or another for most of her life, but she didn’t publish her first novel until she was almost 200 years old. Now that she’s gotten used to pantsing her way through a storyline, she feels more confident in her ability to weave a decent plot with adequate humor and a decent amount of spice. She knows she’s not funny. It’s okay.
She lives in the frigid northeast, and she’s not super happy about it.
