ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 30, 2022.

When our secret relationship was discovered, I thought the wrath of the Florida Devils would be what I needed to fear most.

I was wrong.

So. So, very wrong.

There are devils in this world, and as it turns out, not all of them are six-foot-four sizzling-hot football gods. There’s actual evil, and its set out to take Zayn and I down for good this time.

•••••

REVIEW: DIRTY GOALS is the third and final instalment in Michelle A Valentine’s contemporary, adult FLORIDA DEVILS erotic, romance serialized trilogy. This is the continuing story of thirty-four year old professional football player Zayn North, and twenty-four year old production assistant Vivi Honeycutt. DIRTY GOALS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the cliff hanger of book one DIRTY PLAYS.

SOME BACKGROUND: Zayn North has been followed by scandal for the better part of a year, and the Florida Devils have ‘ordered’ our hero to stay out of the public eye including no relationships for the foreseeable future but the arrival of Vivi, his half-nephew’s ex-girlfriend, stirs something deep within Zayn North, something he struggles to keep contained in the face of living under the same roof. A new scandal has placed Zayn and Vivi in the spotlight, a scandal that is threatening the life of the woman Zayn loves.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Zayn and Vivi) DIRTY GOALS picks up immediately after the cliff hanger of book two DIRTY PLAYS in which a Hollywood starlet has gone missing and is presumed dead, a starlet directly connected to our story line hero. As the investigation begins to stall, and Zayn increases the security around the woman he loves, the person responsible continues to gain access, access that becomes personal and deadly. What ensues is the ongoing relationship between Zayn and Vivi, and the potential fall-out as our couple are targeted by a psychotic mind.

The secondary and supporting characters include Vivi’s friend Bella, and Zayn’s best friend Beckett, as well as Bella’s lecherous boss Harry, and Florida Devils’ team owner Bruce Bayne. Here’s hoping the author plans on going back and telling Bella and Beckett’s story.

DIRTY GOALS is a fast paced, quick read that resolves the who and why of Zayn’s latest stalker but saying that the conflict resolution feels rushed and underwhelming, and at one of the most pivotal parts of the story, we are not privy to Vivi’s side. The premise is intriguing and intense; the romance is passionate; the characters are energetic and determined but I was hoping for a little more.

Zayn and I have been working hard to keep the relationship between us a secret. If we’re discovered after the Devil’s football organization forbid him to have any romantic relationships, he risks a possible suspension.

Zayn’s way of concealing our relationship is passing me off as his niece in order to explain why we’re together all of the time until the season is over. This crazy plan might just work if my ex, who is also Zayn’s nephew, stops trying to win me back and keeps his mouth shut.

REVIEW: DIRTY PLAYS is the second instalment in Michelle A Valentine’s contemporary, adult FLORIDA DEVILS erotic, romance serialized trilogy. This is the continuing story of thirty-four year old professional football player Zayn North, and twenty-four year old production assistant Vivi Honeycutt. DIRTY PLAYS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the cliff hanger of book one DIRTY GAMES.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Zayn and Vivi) DIRTY PLAYS picks up immediately after the events of book one DIRTY GAMES . ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date April 22, 2021

He’s chaos–on and off the field…

For hotshot quarterback, Luke Finnegan, Love and Chaos are always intertwined, and when he decides he’s through with relationships, a blonde artist with pink streaks in her hair convinces him sometimes love is worth the madness.

Miley St. Claire doesn’t do relationships. She’s seen the chaos they cause for those around her and she wants no part of that drama, which is why taking Luke Finnegan up on his offer to be friends with benefits is her ideal non-relationship. Trouble is, when she gets to know Luke, she finds herself missing him when he’s not around and quickly realizes, to her absolute horror, she’s falling for the sexy quarterback.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Chaos and Love is a stand-alone college football romance with a lot of sass and sexy times. No cliffhanger. No Cheating. There’s definitely a HEA.

••••••

REVIEW: CHAOS AND LOVE is the second instalment in Michelle A Valentine’s contemporary, new adult CAMPUS HOTSHOTS erotic, romances series. This is college quarterback Luke Finnegan, and graphic design student Miley St. Claire’s story line. CHAOS AND LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross over with the mention of the author’s Black Falcon series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Luke and Miley) CHAOS AND LOVE follows the building romance and relationship between college quarterback Luke Finnegan, and graphic design student Miley St. Claire. Luke Finnegan is failing marketing and is desperate in the face of losing his starting position with team, and finds himself asking graphic design student Miley St. Claire for help but Miley is his brother’s girlfriend’s best friend, and in this Luke doesn’t want to cross the line where he doesn’t belong. Our heroine will surprise Luke Finnegan when she suggests a relationship outside of school, a surprise that involves a friends with benefits relationship as our heroine does not believe in love or happily ever after. What ensues is the building friendship, relationship and love between Miley and Luke, and the potential fall-out as Miley’s issues of trust threaten any future happiness for our story line couple.

Miley St. Claire doesn’t do relationships having witnessed the volatile and unfaithful marriage of her parents but something about Luke has our heroine reconsidering her stand on relationships, a relationship that is about to prove that love is temporary, and trust must be earned. Luke Finnegan knows betrayal first hand but that doesn’t stop him from hoping for his own happily ever after. Miley St. Claire is a means to an end but falling in love is one of the best side-benefits to needing a college tutor.

The relationship between Miley and Luke begins as a student-tutor relationship wherein Luke is immediately attracted to his our story line heroine but Miley lets Luke know that she has no desire to fall in love but a friends with benefits relationship is all she is able to handle. As their relationship begins to develop, Luke’s past is determined to destroy any hope for a happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Luke’s brother Baker and his girlfriend Sky (Rebellious and Reckless 1), and their father Morris Finnegan; Miley’s roommate Kaylee; Luke’s friend and fellow football player Milo; and mean girl/ sorority sisters Veronica and Nadalee.

CHAOS AND LOVE is a story of family, relationships, betrayal and love; a story of vengeance, jealousy, retribution and heart break. The premise is engaging and emotional; the romance is seductive; the characters are dynamic, energetic and charismatic but I struggled with the YA (young adult) feel to the story line premise including the vindictive mean girls, and immature and over emotional parental units. The epilogue fast forwards the story line five years.

REBELLIOUS AND RECKLESS is a story of secrets and lies; betrayal and vengeance; dysfunctional family dynamics, forgiveness and love. The premise is captivating and heart breaking; the romance struggles in the early stages as Sky’s obsession with Luke is beyond naive and immature; the characters are dynamic and charismatic.

**STANDALONE. No Cliffhanger**

•••••••••

REVIEW: LOVE, SEX, MUSIC by Michelle A Valentine is a stand alone, contemporary, adult, erotic romance story line focusing on former rock star, and music producer Lazarus ‘Laz’ Rawlings, and singer Aundrea ‘Drea’ Newton.

Told from dual first person points of view (Laz and Drea) LOVE, SEX, MUSIC focuses on the building but forbidden relationship between music producer Laz Rawlings, and singer Drea Newton. It has been five years since Laz Rawlings fell out of favor with his record company, his band and the rest of the world when addiction and the loss of someone close sent Laz Rawlings spiraling out of control. Fast forward to present day wherein Laz is desperate for a come back including the making of an all-girl band that will see our story line hero top the charts-once again. Enter eatery employee and singer Aundrea ‘Drea’ Newton, and her step-sister Candace-two sisters hoping to hit it big in the music industry. What ensues is the building romance between Drea and Laz, and the fall out when the competition for lead singer turns ugly, and Drea’s past comes looking for revenge.

The relationship between Drea and Laz is a forbidden romance in such that Laz’s come back is threatened if he becomes entangled with a member of the group. Throughout the story line, Drea and Laz keep their relationship a secret although everyone has their suspicions because Laz is unable to keep his eyes off of the woman that calls to his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense, seduction and hot.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Laz’s best friend and former member of the rock band the Romeos Cam Owens; friend and part of the group’s artistic development team Laurie; Laz’s father Mr. Rawlings, and his personal assistant Robert, as well as the new CEO of Rawlings Records Peter Lawson. We are introduced to the members of the Vixens including Drea’s sister Candace Montag, Annamea and Laycee. There is definitely an attraction between Candace and Cam-I am hoping the author continues their story in the future. The requisite evil has many faces including Drea’s ex-boyfriend Carlos who wants revenge against our story line heroine.

The world building focuses on the try-outs for the group: the auditions, the training, the potential fall out of Drea’s romantic relationship with a man who is technically her boss. Laz’s history with Peter, and the breakdown of the rock band The Romeos is revealed, as well as Drea’s heartbreaking back story.

LOVE, SEX, MUSIC is an emotional story line; an easy read that looks at the making of a band (singing group), and the fall out of jealousy, revenge and too much, too soon. The premise is entertaining and spicy; the romance is provocative and passionate; the characters are spirited and dynamic.
