With little love from her dad growing up, she is betrothed to his right hand man Dante. Dante is the scum of the earth and regularly physically abuses Elana. When her dad, Tino Lucas sends her away to St. Monarch’s to keep her safe, she looks at it as a way to gain her freedom. St. Monarch’s is a school for the underworld! Mutual ground for elite crime families. Elana uses this opportunity to figure out how she is going to kill Dante, so she doesn’t have to marry him. That is until she meets Lucian Cotroni, the one her father warned her to steer clear of while at St. Monarchs. Lucian is set to take over as the main Mafia Boss for his father. One night, while overhearing a prayer of Elana’s, Lucian slowly becomes very protective of her. He vows to never let Dante hurt her again. But will Lucian do anything to keep her from marrying Dante? What lengths will he be willing to go to?

What an amazingly, wonderful Mafia romance. There is a warning at the beginning of the book, please take it to heart. This book isn’t for the faint hearted. I don’t normally gravitate to “Mafia” style books – this book has remnants of loved characters from previous series’! I just love a good crossover book and Michelle Heard is the queen of crossover!

I read this book in one sitting and it was fast paced and amazingly wonderful! I can’t state enough to try all of Michelle Heards books! While this is a stand alone it is so much more enjoyable with all of the other books!

REVIEW:Merciless Saints is the first book in a new series by Michelle Heard. St. Monarch’s Academy is neutral territory for the heirs of the cities elite crime famalies. This is where protectors are made and loyalties are cast.

This book brings us to Dimitri younger brother Damien. We previously met Dimitri in another series – The Heir’s.

Damien Vetrov was born to be an elite protector. He is currently at St. Monarch’s to hone his skills and accept his place in the underworld of crime.

His time at St. Monarchs is about done when in walks the Blood Princess, Winter Hemsley. Winter is the Mafia Princess of the Hemsley family. Winter is beyond strong. She has already survived one assassination attempt that took her mothers life, and there seems there is more danger in her future. When she does find herself in deadly danger again, Damien steps in to rescue her and protect her. But there is a price to pay for the protection he offers…

Will Winter be able to give Damien what he wants and needs? Will she choose him when he is all she has left?

What an amazing start of a new series.

It bears mention that this can be read as a stand alone but why would you want to do that, when this world is delicious and terrifying. You can cut the chemistry between the two main characters with a knife. And it’s definitely a world you will get completely lost in!

Can’t wait for more in this series!

REVIEW:Forbidden Heir by Michelle Heard is book eight in The Heirs series. This book covers the story of Danny Hayes (32) and Ryker West (25). Danny is COO and chairperson for a multi-billion dollar company. And she has her entire life planned out. At twenty-eight she’d meet her prince. At thirty, she’d get married. At thirty-two she’d have a child. But you know what they say about the best laid plans? At thirty one she is miserable, alone, with no prince in sight.

Ryker is Tristan’s (Danny’s younger brother) best friend. And he has loved Danny since they were kids. The attraction is definitely there. But he has no idea where they stand. That is until they have three weeks alone with each other in South Africa.

Ryker knows he gets under Danny’s skin. But he has no idea how she really feels about him. He has no idea how she has been attracted to him since he turned eighteen.

But neither knows how the other truly feels. Will they reveal their forbidden feelings for each other? This book was the most gut-wrenchingly beautiful love story of the lot. And also the one that made me cry the most. If you are looking for several wonderfully interwoven series that cross and intersect I highly recommend: The Trinity Academy Series, Enemies to Lovers Series, and The Heirs Series. This was the most thorough intersecting series I have ever read that didn’t constantly repeat itself. I am such a huge Michelle Heard fan and I recommend this series to all.

REVIEW:Tempted Heir is book seven in The Heirs series by Michelle Heard. Dash West has been best friends with Christoper Hayes since they were born. And when Dash tries to breakup her boyfriend Josh, he hits her. Her best friend Christopher sees this and beats Josh up. While Christopher wanted to kill him for hurting Dash, he doesn’t. Christooher is there to help her pick up the pieces. But why aren’t they dating? A stupid pact as teenagers has kept them from dating each other, protecting their friendship at all costs.

When Dash becomes tired of the dating scene, she decides she wants to have a baby of her own. On her own.She decides to use a sperm bank to concieve a child. When Christopher fonds this out, all bets are off the table. After starting to pursue donor candidates, Christopher tells Dash he wants to be her baby’s father. REVIEW:Sinful Heir by Michelle Heard is book six in The Heirs series. This is the story of Tristan Hayes and Hana Cutler. Tristan is shadows, a haven of darkness personified. He knows he walks alone on the dark side. His personal life consists of non-disclosures and one-night stands. That is until he sees Hana at the CRC Holdings Christmas party. She personifies the light and all that is goodness in the world.

“She is not a prize to be won, but a woman meant to be earned.”

Tristan sets out right away to pursue Hana and her steadfast ability to say no quickly fades. But being with Tristan can be dangerous. And while he has vowed to protect her, she is taken from him. War will be the only response. There will be carnage and chaos.

Tristan is the epitome of darkness and bad boy. He walks a fine line between legal and illegal. He knows his boundaries and knows what he wants in life. Head strong and loyal – his emotions run deep. Although its not something he shares often. You will fall in love with every ounce of his being.

Hana is everything of the light. She is pure innocence and goodness. But we soon come to find out she has a wild side. She has worked hard with her education and has led a semi sheltered life. But she is strong, loyal and committed in her integrity and morals.

Can the light win over darkness? Will Hana be everything Tristan needs and more. This book was the wildest of rides ever. I loved every aspect and can not wait for more.

This book came with a warning label from the author. This will not be like other books in the series. And it was not like a single other book. At all… It was amazing, dark, delicious and the most heart pounding read to date. I could not get enough of Tristan. He was and is my favorite Heir so far.

This book is exactly darkness and light. It is accepting your partner for who they are and what they are. It is all things dark, gritty and romantic. I believe with the darkness we are being led into a new series that will explore that even more. Which makes me completely excited about. I can’t recommend this series enough.

Truly worth the read.

REVIEW:Callous Heir is the fifth book in The Heirs series by Michelle Heard.

This book is a continuation yet stand alone to the Trinity Academy Series.

We are now learning about The Heirs… the children of the couples from the Trinity Academy and The Enemies to Lovers Series.

A crossover of a crossover – per se.

Carla Reyes has been in love with Noah West since she was 15 years old and he was 20. She did the wrong thing and fell for her brother’s friend. When Carla finally got the courage to tell him he harshly rejected her. That is until things changed.

Carla is now 18 and is attending Trinity Academy. And must share a suite with Noah – now 23. At first Noah is very cold towards Carla but he slowly begins to see that she has grown up.

Noah begins to feel things that he never has felt before. Almost stoic in his emotions before, he comes into his own eventually.

Not going to lie – Noah annoyed me in the beginning, and not in a good way. I knew he would eventually come around and sway that decision but I wasn’t expecting him to change so quickly. He turned out to be my favorite Heir so far.

Carla was the perfect combination of sassy and sweet. She also had a resilience in waiting for Noah that I am not sure others could sustain. But once Noah begins to have feelings for Carla all bets are off.

The perfect quick one sitting read, no way to drag it out and slow things down as I wanted to know what was going to happen next at every page turn.

I fell hard and fast for Noah and his ways.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

REVIEW: Not My Hero by Michelle Heard is a stand alone full length novel in The Black Mountain Academy Series. This series is also a spin off of the Trinity Academy and Cold Hearted Heir series.

Brie Weinstock has had a horrendous life. Facing almost daily physical and mental abuse from her mother Serena Weinstock who we met in The Trinity Academy. Serena hates her life, hates what she has become and she takes it all out on her daughter – daily! Brie does everything in her power to avoid the bully she lives with and the bullies at school. The bullies at school are brutal. Constant taunts, pushes and disgusting pranks. Brie has no safe haven. No place to go where she feels safe and can just breathe. That is until Black Mountain Academy gets a new make student.

Colton Lawson (who we met in Coldhearted Heir) has moved to a new town with his mom. Which means a new school. But his first day doesn’t go quite as he thought it would. He sees a girl that is constantly being bullied. She reminds him so much of his brother Brady. Brady and him suffered years of mental and physical abuse at the hands of their father. Until Brady could no longer take it and he committed suicide. Colton sees so much of Brady in Brie and he just wants to see her stand up for herself, and at the same time he wants to protect her.

Brie is such a sweet, innocent character who does not deserve the life she has been dealt. Her mother is brutal and evil. My heart broke for her and all she had to endure.

Colton is strong, protective and struggling with the loss of his brother. He instantly sees Brady in Brie and how she reacts to the world around her. He becomes the only friend she has. But the closer Brie and him become the more feelings he begins to experience. After a truly bad incident with Brie and her mother – he takes her to his house to stay. Vowing to keep her safe. But can he keep her safe from herself and her self loathing thoughts?

I enjoyed the way Colton took care of Brie. You could feel her struggle on every page. Thoroughly enjoyed! And while it deals with some horrific social issues it also shows you the power in helping another human in their time of need. I recommend all of the aforementioned series listed. It doesn’t get any better than continuing the lineage and the stories

REVIEW:Coldhearted Heir is book one in The Heirs series by Michelle Heard. What culminates as the ultimate clash / crossover story from her Enemies to Lovers and Trinity Academy series.

We are back at Trinity Academy but now we are there with the children from the Enemies to Lovers and Trinity Academy series.

Once her conversation with Brady’s brother ends – Jade realizes she has made a terrible mistake. She realizes she has spent the last two years blaming Hunter for something he did not do. Blaming him for causing the death of Brady, accusing him of being a murderer. Once the truth comes out, and she tries to apologize to Hunter, all hell breaks loose. Hunter has spent the last two years taking every bit of crap Jade has thrown his way

Hunter Chargill, heir to Trinity Academy and CRC Holdings, is in his final year at Trinity. He has done everything he can to repair his friendship with Jade.Now with her moving into his dorm he knows that the only thing he can do is try to make things right with her. But Jade never listens to reason. And every interaction with her turns into a fight or shouting match. Hunter is a good man, he knows in his heart he did nothing to cause the death of Brady but how can he convince Jade of the truth. And when did Jade grow up and become so attractive. Hunter’s feelings for Jade boil to the surface as he still trying to prove the truth to her. Once Jade knows that truth her apology is too much for Hunter to handle. Hunter is hurt and mad and just plain ticked that Jade would never take his word for it.

This story was perfect and you could tell that Hunter comes from good blood. He is every bit the man his father is. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the next chapter in these series. I loved traveling back to Trinity Academy and experiencing the world through the children.

You could read each series alone – but why would you – there is an incredible world created by these three series and highly recommend them to everyone.You can get lost in the story and get carried away.
