“I’ve never lost a single bet… until I met her.”
Chassie
Before he even asked me my name, he was asking if I wanted to be a sweetbutt for the Savage Knights MC.
I knew right then to keep my distance. Players are dangerous. Especially ones that look like him.But now… he’s in my apartment, playing bodyguard to my roommate while her boyfriend is out of town. He’s still determined. Still insisting the attraction between us is undeniable. Still living in denial that a woman could actually turn him down. Now, he wants to make a wager.
If I end up kissing him before the week’s over, then I’m his to claim for the night. No limits. No safe word. No resistance.
If I win the bet, I get to go on a shopping spree— without losing my dignity… or my heart. I’m determined to win.
But he’s…
Determined to make it nearly impossible.

REVIEW: PREACHER’S PROPERTY is the ninth novella in Landry Hill’s contemporary, adult SAVAGE KNIGHTS MC: NW erotic, MC romance series. This is Jordyn ‘Preacher’ Clark, and Chassie Shumer’s story line. PREACHER’S PROPERTY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Preacher and Chassie) PREACHER’S PROPERTY follows the building but acrimonious relationship between our story line couple. A night out with her best friend Payton brings Chassie up close and personal with our story line hero but Preacher is about to mistake Chassie for someone she is not, and all bets are off as Preacher is determined to claim Chassie as his own. When Chassie’s ex boyfriend refuses to let go, Preacher finds himself on the wrong end of the law but all is not as it appears to be.
The world building is fast, covering but a few days in the life. Chassie’s best friend Payton is the girlfriend of Preacher’s MC brother Cage, and while Cage is on a run, Preacher becomes guardian and protector of Chassie and Payton, bringing Chassie and Preacher closer together.
The relationship between Chassie and Preacher is acrimonious at best. From the outset, Preacher’s introduction to Chassie threatens our heroine’s sense of self, and in this Chassie is determined to make Preacher work for everything he wants. The $ex scenes are limited but provocative .
The interesting secondary and supporting characters include Chassie’s best friend Payton and MC brother Cage, Payton’s sister Meg, Dakota, and Chassie’s ex Dusty.
PREACHER’S PROPERTY is a fast paced, quick read. A story of betrayal and vengeance, obsession and power, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is interesting, and entertaining; the romance is limited but seductive; the characters are determined and energetic.
