One look was all it took to set this heart of stone ablaze.

Heat

I’m the president of the Kings of Anarchy MC: Virginia Charter. My reputation for being who I am and taking no shit from anyone all while taking care of business precedes me. It’s part of the reason I got the title and the gavel. I protect my own. Club and family. They are what matters to me, and I refuse to let them down because I know what it’s like to lose someone who’s counting on you. My brothers and I are still on the hunt for one we should’ve saved.

Each lead goes nowhere. Nothing helps. But we won’t stop until we bring her back, doing whatever it takes to make sure she comes home again. In the middle of all of this, a new face shows up out of thin air. I don’t have time for her ordeal. More trouble is the last thing I need. But Mckenna’s pleading eyes tell me she’s in deep with someone she used to trust.

Someone who means to do her harm. And I may not be looking for an ol’ lady of my own, but I’m not about to let another woman suffer when I can save her. The heat of flames will destroy those who come to take what is now mine.

REVIEW: PROPERTY OF HEAT is the third instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY MC: VIRGINIA erotic, paranormal romance series, a part of the multi-authored KINGS OF ANARCHY MC series. This is KOAMC: Virginia president Rankin aka Heat, and stripper McKenna’s story line. PROPERTY OF HEAT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary .

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers .

Told from dual first person perspectives (Heat and McKenna) PROPERTY OF HEAT follows in the wake of McKenna’s arrival in Windsor, Virginia, far away from the life she left behind. McKenna has a stalker, and her godmother Hel, has suggested a vacation in Windsor, where our heroine will meet her fated mate. Heat has no idea the woman fate has deemed his own is the feisty woman renting a room from his younger sister but from the outset Heat suspects there is something more to McKenna’s arrival, something dark and dangerous, and our hero is determined to protect her with his life.

The relationship between Heat and McKenna is one of fated mates, and McKenna refuses to be ‘owned’ by any man including our story line hero but McKenna has a secret, a stalker and a need for control, and in this Heat is determined to prove he is worthy of her heart. The $ex scenes are provocative and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of magical and colorful secondary and supporting characters: vampires, fae, warlocks, dragon shifters, and a large assortment of supernatural powers including the Kings of Anarchy MC: Virginia members.. We are introduced to McKenna’s godmother Hel, her godbrother Leon, and Rashon.

PROPERTY OF HEAT is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, family and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and engaging; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are magical, powerful and desperate.
