REVIEW: RELENTLESS is the first instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult LAS VEGAS DEFIANCE MC erotic, MC romance series, set in the author’s Defiance MC world. This is journalist Elizabeth Hale, and thirty-seven year old, Las Vegas Defiance MC President Diesel aka Sin’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Elizabeth and Sin) RELENTLESS follows in the wake of the arrival of journalist Elizabeth Hale as she ventures into the world of the LVDMC. Elizabeth is hoping to write about the Las Vegas Defiance MC, research the who, how and why but Elizabeth is keeping secrets, and those secrets are about to threaten any chance for a future with the man with whom she will fall in love. Sinister aka Sin is the president of the Las Vegas Defiance MC, and a man who doesn’t trust too easily. A war is on the horizon with cartel known as the Hidden Hand Alliance but once again nto everything is as it appears to be. Secrets and lies will expose both a personal and a professional betrayal, secrets that will dig further into the past than anyone could have ever imagined.

The world building follows several paths including the ongoing betrayal perpetuated against the Las Vegas Defiance MC. Elizabeth is on the hunt, and what she discovers throws a proverbial wrench into the direction of her ‘story’, a direction that reveals deception and betrayal at the highest level.

The relationship between Elizabeth and Sin is one of immediate attraction but Elizabeth struggles to cross an imaginary line, a line that is about to crumble and fall. Sin is determined to claim Elizabeth as his own but exposing the truth means heart break for everyone involved. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and dynamic secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to several members of the Las Vegas Defiance MC:VP Nitro, tech genius and secretary Ghost, SAA Koa, Mace, Bear, and his sons, Road Captain Deek and Will, as well as club girls Millie McLane, Ro: law enforcement Chief Detective Maria Moretti, Captain Rourke; Capo Lorenzo of the Hidden Hand Alliance. The requisite evil has many faces.

RELENTLESS is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic, edgy and engaging;the romance is seductive ; the characters are desperate, determined and decisive.

REVIEW: RESTLESS is the second instalment in Kathryn C Kelly’s contemporary, adult DEATH DWELLERS MC : THE LEGACY GENERATION dark, erotic, series focusing on the multi-generational membership in the Death Dwellers MC-a spinoff from the Death Dwellers MC. Most of the original couples and characters from the Death Dwellers MC series play significant role in the current timelines. I recommend reading the original series as well as RECKLESS book one of The Legacy Generation.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence and language, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from several omniscient third person perspectives using present day, memories from the past , divided into Acts and Interludes RESTLESS follows several intersecting paths focusing on the dark and acrimonious relationships between family, friendships and the Death Dwellers MC. Although several of the characters are under sixteen years old, the entirety of the premise is intended for mature readers. While CJ Caldwell is torn between friendships and family, his story line bleeds and blends into the overarching premise, as the originals, the members, and the legacy fight for control at the top.

Secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, murder and abuse, obsession and madness are but a few of the significant conceptualizations throughout the story, in the end, deception and dishonesty are but the tip of the proverbial iceberg as club president Christopher ‘Outlaw’ Caldwell struggles to regain control. The detailed and complex premise is gritty, dark, raw. dramatic and tragic; the characters are numerous, flawed, destructive-there is nothing likeable about the majority of the characters; there is no romance to be found. RESTLESS ends on a bit of a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

Heed the trigger warnings-they are graphic and numerous.

RELENTLESS is a dark, graphic, complex and detailed story focusing on many issues including graphic violence, discrimination, racism, mental instability and illness, psychotic breaks, emotional and physical infidelity. There is madness, anger, resentment and loss; betrayal, abuse, incest, vengeance and jealousy; mistrust and misunderstanding-most manipulated by actors behinds the scenes resulting in any number of fall-outs and accusations. The dysfunctionality of the Death Dwellers MC family is rife with any number of psychological terrors-the selfishness, secrets, lies and manipulations threaten the sanity of everyone involved.

A major portion of the story line follows the under eighteen (most under sixteen) extended family members-the legacy generation who are straddling the line between madness and mania. No one is likeable from child to adult, the amount of deceit is dangerous and alarming.

REVIEW:*Dives for kindle*

Relentless is here! Book Four in the Mason Family series has arrived from the lovely Adriana Locke. Relentless is a contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone in the series, but as I always recommend, it’s better in the series order. This book is such a good read, it’s fun, it’s happy, its drama, it’s spicy, it’s everything you want to inject into your own life sometimes. And what’s better you ask? It’s on Kindle Unlimited!

Shaye luck hasn’t been the best the last few years, she is still dealing with the issues of her past, but she’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t take crap for anything. She wants to earn her way and pay back what needs to be paid back. This motto is what she is basing her life around at the moment, well she was until she sneezed her way into her very own CEO.

Oliver is a workaholic, a hot as Hades workaholic, but nonetheless, spends far too much time behind his desk. His life revolves around work, sure he makes time for his family, family is family, but the spare time for relationships is not for him. Having been burned by love in the past, Oliver has taken his work as his wife and has no plans to change. That was, until Shaye.

A chance encounter, a connection that sparks more than lust, can Oliver let go of the past and move on to greener pastures? Or will his workaholic ways win out?

What a story! I love Ollie and Shaye so much! Their relationship was so much fun to read, from the beginning of the Mason Family series, I couldn’t wait to see what Addy would do, where she would go with the character, who she would pair everyone up with. All I have to say is, way to go girly! I can always count on Addy for a good book, her characters are so real and relatable. I want a family like the Mason’s!

He fiddles with his tie. “Otherwise, I’ll be back upstairs in a few hours, and we can head up to legal. You’ll be communicating with them a lot, and I want to make the introductions.”
“Okay,” I say, following his lead and standing.
He comes around the corner of his desk and stops a few feet in front of me.
Our eyes lock, his irises shifting colors again—deepening—as he takes me in. If we were in another place—any other place—at another time—besides the office in which we both work—I’d raise on my tiptoes and kiss him.
At least, I think that’s what I would do. It’s been so long. But the version of me that lives in my head and plays out fictional romantic interludes believes that’s what would happen.
My mouth goes dry, and my lips are downright parched. But as the reel of the make-believe kiss we’d share finishes in my head, I scamper back to reality and the fact that he’s my boss. And no matter how kissable he is or what I wouldn’t give to lean in to this feeling—the one that feels pretty and desired—I don’t.
I can’t.
Because life is about priorities and having a roof over your head is a big one. So, too, is ensuring that you don’t give people the ability to screw up your life.
Kissing my boss would surely put me at risk for the first one. It would definitely be wading into the waters of the second.
“Let me know if you need anything from me today,” I say, my voice a little raspier than I would like.
His eyes darken, but all he does is nod.
I lift my chin and give him my best-practiced smile. Then I turn on my heel and escape into my office.
