Her scars make her beautiful. My rage makes her safe.

Ruger
The moment I laid eyes on Tildie—the most lucious curvy bartender in town—I knew she’d be mine.

As President of Saint’s Outlaws MC, I’ve built my reputation on protecting what belongs to me. And from the second I saw Tildie nervously tucking that strand of hair behind her ear, something primal inside me claimed her.

She’s got secrets. Demons that haunt her. And an ex who wants her back.

Too f****ing bad.

Because I’ve spent my life dealing with men who think they can take what’s mine. Her ex doesn’t know it yet, but he’s already a dead man walking.

Tildie thinks she’s broken beyond repair, but she hasn’t seen what happens when a man like me decides to fight for what he wants.

I’ll tear apart anyone who tries to hurt her—even if I have to choke the life from them with my bare hands.

REVIEW: RUGER’S RAGE is the first instalment in Elizabeth Knox’s contemporary, adult SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC: MORGANTOWN WV dark, erotic, MC romance series, set in the multi-authored SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC (SOMC). This is club president Ryan ‘Ruger’ Callahan, and Elizabeth ‘Tildie’ Hayes’ story line.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Tildie and Ruger) RUGER’S RAGE follows in the wake of Ryan ‘Ruger’ Callahan assuming the mantle of president of SOMC: Morgantown following the expulsion of the previous man in charge. Fast forward three years, Ruger will come face to face with his aunt Ellie’s new employee, Tildie Hayes, a young woman whose ghosts refuse to let go, but a woman who is struggling not to run again. As Ruger prepares for the possibility of war, he finds himself falling for Tildie and claiming our heroine as his own but Tildie refuses to be considered the property of the Saint’s Outlaws MC, and when her past returns, Ruger is determined to save the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The world building focuses on betrayal and obsession, and dysfunctional family dynamics. Ruger and the SOMC find themselves being played, pushed into a war not of their making, forced into a tense situation before the truth is revealed.

The relationship between Tildie and Ruger is one of immediate attraction but Tildie prefers to keep to herself until the threats become more personal and dark. As Tildie battles between head and heart, Ruger is single-minded in his pursuit of our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic languge and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and sometimes controversial secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to several members of the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Morgantown including Ounce, Bloodhound, Porter and Coin, as well as Ruger’s Aunt Ellie, Uncle Striker, his cousin Kinsey, club girl Bailey, and Tildie’s ex Marco Santini. The requisite evil has many faces.

RUGER’S RAGE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, secrets and lies, obsession and madness, family and deception, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is lively and gripping; the romance is seductive; the characters are determined yet tragic.
