REVIEW: Helen Hardt delivers the next installment in the ever going Steel Brothers Saga. Book 19 devils into Donny Steels story. Like every other installment in the brothers saga, the author captivated us with her words. Spark gives us all the feels as well as the twists and turns of family drama that we all so look forward to reading about.

After returning home at the request of his mother, Donny Steel is after one thing and one thing only.Callie Pike. Their history is long, their chemistry hotter than ever, but can the new neighbors let go of the past and reveal their secrets long enough to give their new found love a chance again? Will the Steel family drama ever really stop?

Spark is a fast paced, page turning read that no reader will be able to put down. As in so many of her books Ms. Hardt weaves her wonderful words into a world of mystery and intrigue. Callie and Donny are a couple that readers root for, after turning each page we can’t wait to see how they get their happily ever after. And better yet? What comes in the next book!?

REVIEW:Perfect word to describe Spark; Swoon! Like the rest of the Men of Ink series, Spark is a hot, sexy read that leaves nothing to the imagination and everything to the feels.

Nick is an alpha, he’s protective, hot but a true sweetie at heart. My favorite type of guy! Jo and Nick’s story is full of character depth and inner struggle. Jo has always felt like a captive, her family and how the world sees them being the most important thing. When she meets Nick, he’s just the kinda guy she needs to show her all the things she has missed out on.

I loved Sparked! It was a sweet and spicy read that lightened my day and brought me some joy in a crazy time. Awesome job to Chelle Bliss for her newest release!

REVIEW:SPARK is the first instalment in Aleatha Romig’s contemporary, adult WEB OF DESIRE erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on Patrick Kelly, and Madeline ‘Maddie’ Miller. SPARK and the Web of Desire series is set in the author’s Web of Sin, and Tangle Web worlds but you do not have to have read the previous series to follow or understand the current timeline.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Patrick and Madeline) SPARK follows the rekindling romance between thirty-five year olds Patrick Kelly, and Madeline ‘Maddie’ Miller. Patrick and Madeline grew up homeless on the mean streets of Chicago, scamming and stealing to survive but at age eighteen Maddie disappeared from Patrick’s life leaving our hero to search for the woman he would always love, believing she may already died. Fast forward to present day wherein Madeline Miller, a renowned poker player finds herself face to face with her past, a past that wants a reconciliation, and the truth about what happened years before. With Madeline in prime contention to win the coveted poker tournament, Patrick is caught between head and heart knowing that the poker tournament isn’t all what it appears to be. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Sterling Sparrow and Aranaeae McCrie (Web of Sin Trilogy); Mason Pierce and Laurel Carlson (Tangled Web Trilogy); Reid Murray; as well as several notorious crime lords, and poker stars including Andros Ivanov, Marion Elliott, Antonio Hillman, goon Mitchell Leonardo, and concierge/ organizer Veronica Standish.

SPARK is a story of betrayal and revenge; of power and control; of secrets, lies, servitude and danger. The premise is intriguing, edgy and decadent; the characters are animated and dynamic; the romance is provocative and sensitive. There is a twist to the story line that I suspected from the start, a twist that is about to complicate Patrick’s plans for revenge. SPARK ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

REVIEW:SPARK is the latest novella (3.5) in Sherilee Gray’s contemporary, adult BOOSTED HEARTS erotic, romance series. This is former Marine/auto mechanic Dex Colton, and former attorney/interior designer Hattie Sutton’s story line. SPARK can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty .Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Hattie and Dex) SPARK follows the building relationship between former Marine/auto mechanic Dex Colton, and former attorney/interior designer Hattie Sutton. Hattie Sutton left her old life in Phoenix behind, tired of her parents controlling every aspect of her life. Starting anew in Los Angeles as a business partner in a local graphic design firm, our heroine has no desire to tie herself down to one man including the man with whom she will fall in love. Enter former Marine, and mechanic Dex Colton. What ensues is the building but back and forth relationship between Hattie and Dex, and the potential fall-out as Hattie refuses to settle in the wake of Dex’s proclamation of love.

The relationship between Dex and Hattie begins as an almost one-night stand, almost because Hattie is a bit of a runner when things begin to overwhelm. Several times our heroine ‘runs’ at the first sign of ‘something more’ including Dex’s declaration of love. Dex Colton, on the other hand, knows first hand the heart break and pain of betrayal, rejection and loss. Willing to test the waters of his own happily ever after, our hero quickly learns that the woman with whom he has fallen in love isn’t willing to give love a chance. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters. We are reintroduced to Hugh and Shay (Swerve #1), Joe and Darcey (Spin #2), Adam and Lucy (Spin #3), as well as Dex’s brother Zane, and his ex-girlfriend Chloe.

SPARK is a quick read; a fast paced novella focusing on one woman’s desire to be independent under any circumstance, and one man’s struggle to find love and his own happily ever after. The premise is entertaining; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance is heavy and hot but I struggled with Hattie’s continuous need to run every time Dex attempts a more serious relationship.
