REVIEW: DANE’S WAR is the third instalment in EC Land’s contemporary, adult SPIKED RAIDERS MC erotic,paranormal, MC romance series. This is wolf shifter and MC Road Captain Dane, and Raine’s story line. DANE’S WAR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous storylines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Dane and Raine) DANE’S WAR follows in the wake of an attack against our story line heroine. Raine is a human raised by shifter wolves but when her brother Bandit mated her best friend Sloane, Raine often felt like a third wheel . Refusing an invite to the Spiked Raiders MC clubhouse, Raine decided to forge ahead on her own only to find herself the victim of her volatile ex, and the men he hired to do a job until a shifter wolf comes to her rescue, a man who claims Raine is his fated mate. Dane doesn’t do relationships, and has a bit of a reputation, having broken the heart of Raine’s best friend Sloane but discovering his ‘brother’s’ sister is his mate push Dane in another direction, a direction that will reveal a deeper connection than he could have ever imagined.
The world building focuses on the search for the truth. Raine was adopted as a baby but herein lies a twist to the story, our heroine is more than what she appears to be. With her ex on the hunt, Raine will need the help and protection of the Spiked Raiders MC, protection that threatens the man with whom she will fall in love.
The relationship between Dane and Raine is one of fated mates. As Dane succumbs to the probability of of his own happily ever after, it will take some time to convince our heroine, that he is a changed man. The $ex scenes are passionate and intense without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of various types of shifters and witches with the return Corbin and Karsyn, Tucker and Lake, Cyrus, and Corbin & Cyrus’ father Big Daddy; Coby, Dane’s father Daniel, as well as Sloane and Bandit. We are introduced to Raine and Bandit’s parents, as well as Raine’s ex Brady.
DANE’S WAR is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control, family and relationships, acceptance, friendships and love.The fast paced premise is enchanting and intriguing; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are dynamic and determined.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Karsyn and Corbin) CORBIN’S CONFLICT follows the building relationship between our story line couple. Upon her escape from captivity, earth witch Karsyn Sydney finds herself a prisoner of the Spiked Raiders MC, and the fated mate to their president and alpha.. Enter wolf shifter Corbin.Corbin and his wolves only know Karsyn is a witch, the mortal enemies of the supernatural world but something about Karsyn is different, and Corbin is about to discover Karsyn’s connection to them all. What ensues is the quick building relationship between Corbin and Karsyn, and the potential fall-out as Karsyn is willing to sacrifice herself to protect the mate with whom she is falling in love.
The world building reveals some of the issues within the pack: the enemies, the frenemies; the potential for betrayal. Karsyn’s special abilities help the pack with what is and what will be but another fated mate is quickly following in her footsteps .
The relationship between Corbin and Karsyn begins acrimoniously as the wolves are taught not to trust the blood witches. Karsyn is an earth witch with a connection to both the blood witches and the pack, and in this she may be a bigger threat to them all. Corbin knows immediately Karsyn is his mate, and his wolf is determined to protect her at all costs. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.
We are introduced to several members of the Spiked Raiders MC, as well as Corbin’s brother Cyrus, Big Daddy; Cyrus’ daughter Jazmine, Corbin’s daughter daughter Sage; Karsyn’s father Daniel, and her brother Dane. The requisite evil has many faces.
