REVIEW: Stay With Me by Nikki Sloane is the first installment of the Dangerous Obsession series. SWM is a fast-paced romantic suspense romance filled with angst, spice and drama. For a re-release book, this easily kept me engaged and looking forward to the next page.
Our FMC Laurel is put through the absolute ringer. From a ballet dancer to on the run with amnesia. Nothing makes sense, her memories are a shattered mess of scary past and even scarier present. The only thing making her feel safe is Jason. The U.S Marshall who is acting as her body guard for the foreseeable future. Forced together in a safe house, their relationship changes from professional to romantic in a matter of minutes. Jason is known for his control, completing his assignments and moving on, but Laurel however has him question more than how to keep her safe.
I’m a sucker for romantic suspense stories, and this author does them better than most. Having read the original release all those years back and the new one with all the additional spice senses and POV’s, I am so happy to have been able to get my hands on it. For fans of the author and the genre, I think Stay With Me will be a great escape and an even better addition to the TBR.
