Told from dual first person perspectives (Flip and Tally) IF YOU KEEP ME focuses on the building but potentially forbidden relationship between our story line couple. Flip and Tally have been ‘friends’ for year but Tally’s father is Flip’s hockey coach, and Flip doesn’t want to cross the line but Tally has been in love with Flip for as long as she can remember. When Tally propositions Flip, our hero flat out refuses her advances, and in this, Tally’s struggles in the wake of a disastrous news from home. Battling between head and heart, Flip takes the next step in building a relationship, one in which the paparazzi refuse to let go.

The world building focuses on Flip’s past relationships and his reputation as a bit of a proverbial manwh*re. Tally’s father is aware of Flip’s reputation but Coach Vander Zee has troubles of his own, and Tally is caught between her love for Flip, and the heart break of watching her family implode.

The relationship between Tally and Flip is an age-gap, forbidden romance between friends. Flip doesn’t want to lose Tally as a friend but the heart wants something more. Tally is determined to prove she is worthy of Flips’ love but Flip is keeping secrets that may break them apart. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Toronto Terror hockey team and previous story line couples. We are reintroduced to Coach Vander Zee, his wife, and Tally’s siblings Ties and Fenna.

IF YOU KEEP ME is a story of secrets and lies, heart break and compassion, family and relationships, friendships and love. The character driven premise is emotional and edgy; the romance is seductive; the characters are desperate, determined and charismatic.

Mildred is about to lose her home, her late grandmother’s apartment, in the wake of a five year accounting error but Mildred never expected her savior in the guise of Toronto Terror enforcer and all around grump Connor Grace, the man with whom Mildred will fall in love. Connor knows Mildred is his Meems’ favorite librarian, and in this, offering a marriage of convenience will not only help Mildred but make Connor’s grandmother happy in the process.

The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic, and familiar secondary and supporting characters including Connor’s teammate and Mildred’s best friend Flip Madden. Hemi is an assertive and often combative heroine who has spent most of her life facing down the bullies who were taking constant aim, and in this, her reputation made her a target of workplace harassment.

The relationship between Hemi and Dallas is an enemies to frenemies to lovers relationship; a fake engagement meant to prove they had both moved on from the past, but the past refuses to let go for our story line couple, and Dallas and Hemi are at two different points in their rekindling relationship. The $ex scenes are provocative and passionate without the use of over the top,sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including the couples we met in the previous story lines. Family and friends, co-workers and high school bullies, all tame or threaten our couple’s growing relationship and love.
