Told from third person perspective KNIGHT OF SWORD AND SHADOW follows Bastian and his Order of Ravens as they encounter three strangers-a noblewoman, a handmaiden and their guardian-who task the Knights of the Ravens with a journey to the Golden City but the strangers are keeping secrets, just as Bastian and his men are keeping close to themselves, and in this, Bastian suspects danger at every turn. From magic and mayhem, to creatures of the dark, the group trek across dry, arid plains and forsaken forests only to lose one of their own but it is their arrival in the Golden City that will reveal some of the secrets, secrets that force Bastian to make a decision that will affect his men, going forward.
