Description:
She needs his help, but he has a price…

Having missed out on the “drop-dead-gorgeous” gene in her family, Ann Snyder decides to kick a little butt in the business world instead. That is, until her skeezy manager’s “side business” has the FDA raiding her chocolate shop. Now Ann’s in huge trouble…and the only person who can help her is the adorkable guy who completely humiliated her in high school.

Lawyer Eric Maxwell has been in love with Ann as long as he can remember. He figured he never stood a chance—don’t the beautiful girls always prefer the bad boys to the nerds? So he makes Ann a deal. He’ll provide her with free legal services…if she’ll move in and help him transform him from nerd-without-a-clue to bona fide bad boy.

And once the transition is complete, all he has to do is prove that he’s the only bachelor for her…

Review:

I read Stealing the Bachelor by Sonya Weiss in an afternoon, it was a fun little read.

Eric has always loved Ann, but being a geek he was always tongue tied at college around her. He never got to ask her out, he never kissed her, and that was all he wanted. (Oh and to date her)

But his chance to win the girl appears when Ann falls over in front of him wearing handcuffs 😉

Poor Ann, always the frumpier sister, always overlooked at college.

She had a soft spot for Eric, but after overhearing she wouldn’t even make a hot list, and that Eric would NEVER look at her, or date her, Ann only went for losers and bad boys.

She’s all grown up and making her chocolate business a success. But her supposedly friend and manager of her business has left her fighting off a jail sentence and broke. So swallowing her pride, she asked Eric to help her out, she can’t pay him, but she is hoping he will take installments once she had won her case.

But Eric has a better plan, he wants her to teach him how to be a bad boy, he is sick of his “nice guy” character. So, Ann agrees and the “lessons” begin. She shows him what to wear, where he goes wrong, and what a girl likes. It’s suppose to be business only, but Eric is playing for keeps, he wants Ann forever.

Through the book, they discover their mutual attraction to each other, but as Eric doesn’t know that Ann hold a grudge over their college years, will he succeed ?

This was the third in a sister trilogy. It was fun catching up with the previous couples (I read and reviewed book 2) it wasn’t a good as the previous one, but I liked the characters and their interaction with each other.
