ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 5, 2024

When Beau Wade left his small hometown of Whitecap, Oregon, he swore to himself he’d never go back. But when his NFL career goes up in smoke, that’s exactly what he finds himself doing.

Not much has changed in the ten years he’s been gone. Gossip still spreads through town like wildfire, Dropped Anchor is still the local’s favorite bar, and the woman he’s been secretly in love with most of his life still hates his guts.

Presley Fields is even more beautiful than he remembered. Her smile has the power to light up a room and that bubbly personality of hers is still as strong as ever. For everyone but Beau, anyway, and that’s the least he deserves for making her high school years a nightmare.

He isn’t the same stupid kid he was back then, and after watching her slip through his fingers too many times, the tides have finally turned in his favor. It’ll take a miracle, and every ounce of charm he has, but he’s determined to win her heart. And this time, he intends to keep it.

REVIEW:It’s official; JP holds part of my soul with these books! Turn of the Tides is the third installment in the Whitecap series. Each can be read as a standalone, but as always, and even more so with Jessica Prince, I recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of it. TOTT is an enemy to lovers, small town, sporty romance that has all the feels and drama to boot.

Presley is a Whitecap native and Beau is the douchebag that used to make her life a living hell. Nothing in her ever thought that would change, even him getting older. Turns out she was wrong. When his NFL career ends; Beau finds himself heading back to his roots and back to the woman he won’t admit he still has feelings for. A single step into her bar, and that’s all it takes.

These two have so much chemistry. I really enjoyed the first couple of chapters and the flashbacks we get of the pair in their younger years. I think it gives the book another level of emotion, to really see why they have the feelings they do as adults. Their banter is infectious and funny, and when they finally figure themselves out, they have the best couple energy.

No spoilers, I don’t want to give anything away. Just trust me and read it!

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
