“What is it about you that’s so freakishly sexy?”
“Freakishly?” Bewildered that his admission eased her hurt, she tried to glare at him. Except she found him equally fascinating. “You’re not classically handsome.” She traced his brow with a finger.
“Nope. You’re not traditionally beautiful.”
“Of course not. Stereotypes are boring.”
“Yeah.” He pulled her close for another kiss. Then he dragged her head back. “Your hair is so damn fine. Like silk.” He ran it over his fingers. “How do you get it to be so soft?”
“I call it shampoo. You might want to try it sometime.” Yet his own short hair felt like satin.
“Funny.” He sniffed her collarbone and smiled.
“What?”
“Colin likes the way you smell.”
The change in topic threw her. “Huh?”
“Yeah. Said you smell like a car.”
“I do?”
He nodded. “I can catch the faint scent of oil, but it’s buried under a wallop of hot woman.”
“Flatterer.”
“Yeah. That’s me. Mr. Charming.”
She chuckled and ran a hand over his square jaw, slightly rough with stubble. “Prince Charming, you mean.”
“So you see me as a prince?”
“Don’t sound hopeful. Basically, you’re a pain in my ass. And no, not in the way you’re thinking.”
“Hoping.”
“Dork.” She snickered when he crossed his eyes
