Told from dual first person perspectives Aspen and Elijah, BREATHING IN SIN follows Aspen Gamble as she struggles to stay one step ahead of her ex boyfriend Cole but Cole refuses to walk away, stalking our heroine where ever she goes. When her best friend Ashleigh (Elijah’s sister) offers a weekend in Virginia Beach, Aspen drops everything, leaving Chicago where she will come face to face with her future in the guise of Elijah Sinner. Elijah is a Dom who owns a night club / BDSM club in Virginia Beach, and believes he has found his new submissive in our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Aspen and Elijah, and the potential fall-out as Aspen’s past demands everything including our story line heroine.

Elijah doesn’t do relationships, and in this, wants Aspen as his newest submissive but something about Aspen draws Elijah like a moth to a flame, and his need to protect our heroine is multiplied when her ex refuses to let go. From friends to employee, submissive to lover, Aspen finds herself falling for a man who is willing to risk everything to protect our story line heroine.

The relationship between Aspen and Elijah is quick to develop. Elijah knows immediately that he wants Aspen as his new submissive letting her know there will be no romance nor love but within a matter of days, everything changes, and Elijah wants our heroine for his own happily ever after. There are scenes of bondage, discipline, Dominance and submission but the emotion of love is limited.

The secondary and supporting characters include Elijah’s sister Ashleigh, as well as their brother Damiano; Aspen’s ex Cole, and several clients and customers at the Sinner owned clubs.

BREATHING IN SIN is a fast paced, quick read story of insta-lust to love. The character driven premise is entertaining and spicy; the romance is seductive-the chemistry is heavy and hot; the characters are animated. BREATHING IN SIN covers but a few days in the life-the epilogue fast forwards the story line approximately six months.
