A few days together, rekindling their relationship ends when Brennan must return to California, a return that results in potential betrayal to the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The relationship between Brennan and Natalie is one of second chances; a rekindling romance wherein Natalie falls for Brennan all over again, but gets her heart destroyed in the process. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
