Her children are grown, her ex betrayed her in the worst way, and it’s her first Christmas alone. What better way to spend it than with the hottest man she’s ever seen? She deserves a little fun after losing everything she’s worked so hard for.

Margot Rhodes is glad to wake up in her hotel room to an empty bed. Her one and only hookup was phenomenal, but she doesn’t need to say goodbye to a man she’ll never see again. Except when she comes downstairs…she finds him in the lobby.

A snowstorm shut down the airport, and now she’s stuck with him for three days.

She needs to rebuild her life–not fall for some guy who lives two thousand miles away–so she does her best to avoid him, but the infuriating man keeps teaming up with her in the holiday events the hotel owner’s arranged to keep her guests happy.

And then, when it’s time to go their separate ways, he makes an offer she can’t refuse. It requires a move to his hometown…but what does she have to lose? She’s starting from the bottom which means the only way forward is up.

She’s got a second chance at life…is she willing to risk it all for a dirty-talking stranger?

REVIEW: ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is the thirteenth instalment in Erika Kelly’s contemporary, adult CALAMITY FALLS erotic, romance series. This is business owner/mine owner/assayer Beau Gentry, and Margot Rhodes’ story line. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Margot and Beau) ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU follows in the aftermath of the break down of both Margot and Beau’s respective marriages. Approximately eight months earlier, Margot discovered her husband of twenty-seven years was having an affair, and wanted out of their marriage. Fast forward to present day, Margot, the mother of two grown adult children, is now living and working in Merry Falls. Margot will come face to face with miner Beau Gentry, a divorced father of three adult children, and the man with whom Margot will fall in love. In the days before the Christmas holidays, Beau will be spending time in Merry Falls with his youngest daughter Jessa, time in which he will come to know the local barista, and artisan Margot Rhodes but a snowstorm is about to ruin the plans for everyone including Margot and Beau, a snowstorm that is about to push together our story line couple. Not wanting to leave Margot behind, Beau offers Margot the chance at a new life, a new life that quickly reflects what was and what will never be. What ensues is rapidly building romance and relationship between Margot and Beau, and the potential fall-out as Margot struggles with her position in Beau’s life, a position that is all too familiar for a woman who is refusing to relive a difficult time from her past.

The world building focuses on the lives, loves, marriage and divorces of our story line couple. Both single parents of adult children, Beau and Margot’s children play a significant role in each of their lives but Beau is keeping secrets, and it is these secrets that force Margot to reconsider everything going forward.

The relationship between Margot and Beau is one of immediate attraction but Margot believes she is not ready for a second chance at love. In the days leading to Christmas, Beau begins a subtle seduction of our story line heroine, a seduction that pulls Margot into the lives of Beau, his children, and a business that will quickly spiral out of control. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to an eclectic cast of secondary and supporting characters: Margot’s ex Scott, and their children Owen and Emerson: Beau’s children Lorelei, Jessa and Colt, and Colt’s son Walker.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is a story of second chances, of a sorts. A romantic, holiday tale of family, obligations, acceptance, forgiveness and love. The premise is captivating, entertaining and at times, heart breaking; the romance is seductive and flirtatious; the characters are dynamic, determined, lost but healing.
