REVIEW: DANGEROUS PROTECTOR is the fourteenth installment in Katie Reus’s contemporary, adult RED STONE SECURITY (RSS) romantic, suspense series focusing on the men and women who work for RSS. This is RSS agent, former Ranger, and single father Aaron Fitzpatrick, and web designer Tegan O’Kelly’s story line. DANGEROUS PROTECTOR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from several third person perspectives DANGEROUS PROTECTOR follows Tegan O’Kelly on the run. From Chicago and everywhere in between Tegan has been running from the mob. Accused of stealing millions of dollars in diamond,s our heroine believed she was safe when news came that the person hunting her down had been killed in an horrific accident. Fast forward to present day, where Tegan begins to settle into the Miami life, only to be blindsided when she is targeted once again. Enter former Ranger and RSS security agent Aaron Fitzpatrick, the man she has dreamed about since they first met. What ensues is the building relationship between two people who have danced around one another for several months, and the search for the people responsible for the threats against Tegan’s life.

Aaron is a bit of a brooder; a man burned by a previous relationship; a single father who has found himself attracted to Tegan O’Kelly. Keeping Tegan safe and protected finds our hero in the perfect position to get to know the woman who has starred in his nightly fantasies. The $ex scenes are intimate and sexy.

We are introduced to Aaron’s son Dillon- a little boy of five who believes his daddy has found a new love.

The world building continues to focus on the criminal element; the security firm known for their extra protection; and the men and women you will grow to love.

DANGEROUS PROTECTOR is a suspense filled story of mystery and romance. The premise is engaging; the characters are inspiring; the romance is passionate and heartwarming. Katie Reus add another wonderful and enthralling installment to her fabulous Red Stone Security romantic suspense series.
