About the book: Release Date August 7,2018

Cary “Vamp” Sullivan earned his Riot MC patch and shoved Lorraine Francis Ingram out of his life six years ago by cheating on her. He’s regretted it ever since because he knew she was a top-notch woman. After mentioning his regrets to his brother, Cal, Vamp suddenly finds himself faced with an opportunity to win Lorraine back. When he runs into her unexpectedly and finds out she has been beaten at the hands of a man, Vamp and his Riot MC Brothers are determined to protect her. Vamp is determined to get her back in his life, and he knows it’s going to be an uphill battle.

Lorraine insists that if any Riot MC Brother is going to protect her, it cannot be Vamp. She gets no promises from the Riot MC, and she finds herself with Vamp at her doorstep. She’s determined there will be no second chances, but her resolve is weakened because Vamp isn’t playing fair, he’s fighting…fighting to win her over.

Once she and Vamp are reunited again, they realize there is a very real threat to them both. Lorraine and Vamp are put to the test to rekindle their long lost love and stay alive.

REVIEW: INCITING A RIOT is the second instalment in Karen Renee’s contemporary, adult RIOT MC erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Riot MC. This is thirty-one year old, Riot MC member Cary ‘Vamp’ Sullivan, and twenty-six year old, home-loan officer Lorraine Francis ‘Frankie’ Ingram’s story line. INCITING A RIOT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: INCITING A RIOT contains scenes of graphic violence and strong language that may not be suitable for all readers.

Told from first person point of view (Frankie) and third person (Vamp) INCITING A RIOT follows the second chance romance between Cary ‘Vamp’ Sullivan, and home-loan officer Lorraine Francis ‘Frankie’ Ingram. Six years earlier Cary Sullivan destroyed Lorraine Ingram’s heart, pushing the woman he loved to walk away without looking back. Fast forward to present day wherein Cary Sullivan is the Riot MC member known as Vamp, and he is desperate to rekindle the relationship with the woman he has never stopped loving, but a woman whose dating record reveals a long history of cheaters. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Vamp and Frankie, and the potential fall-out as Frankie is targeted by a cheating ex, and Vamp’s colorful past.

Lorraine ‘Frankie’ Ingram has a poor track record with men who cheat-eleven so far-and number eleven is the most physically dangerous but not the most heart breaking destructive. Having loved only one man Frankie is reluctant to start back up with Cary Sullivan, knowing his history and reputation as a man-whore including the time six years ago he ripped out her heart, and destroyed her soul. Cary ‘Vamp’ Sullivan has never stopped loving the woman whose heart he ripped out and left for garbage. When Cary discovers that Lorraine has been the victim of an assault, he and the Riot MC work overtime to protect the woman he wants back in his life.

The relationship between Vamp and Frankie is one of second chances; a rekindling romance between former lovers whose lives were destroyed by infidelity and immaturity. Vamp wants Frankie back in his life; he is a changed man and is hoping to prove he is worthy of the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and erotic

The large number of colorful secondary and supporting characters include Frankie’s best friend Reggie and his partner Tucker; her boss Roxanne; Frankie’s cousin Diane; Vamp’s brothers Brock and Gabe, their parents Warren and Marnie; Cal and Mallory (Unforeseen Riot #1), Club President Henry ‘Volt’ Adler and his old lady Jackie; Blood and Abby; Roll and Trixie; Leatherneck MC member Razor Richardson; Natasha, and numerous members of the Riot MC. Razor’s story line is next in INTO THE RIOT. The requisite evil has many faces.

INCITING is an entertaining and engaging story line. The premise is fast paced and energetic; the characters are edgy; the romance is captivating and electric. There are some issues of repetition, and an overwhelming focus on non-essential information including fashion and jewellery-sometimes too much is too much. INCITING A RIOT is gritty, character driven MC story, and I am looking forward to the next instalment.
