REVIEW: ONE by Jewel E. Ann is a contemporary, adult, stand alone/spin off, romance story focusing on NFL rookie quarterback Cage Monaghan, and Lake Jones. Cage is the son of JT Monaghan, and Lake is the sister of Luke Jones both characters previously introduced in Jewel’s Jack and Jill series. The story line advances the Jack and Jill series and events several years.

Told from dual first person points of view (Cage and Lake) ONE is a story of second chances. Years earlier, Lake and Cage met at Cage’s father’s funeral, and although neither one was thinking about the future, one kiss meant everything to our leading couple. Fast forward several years, where Cage is now a starring quarterback in the NFL, and Lake is a cover model for cutting-edge prosthetics. What ensues is a rekindling of attraction, and a second chance for two people whose lives connected through grief, loss and the feisty Jillian Knight aka Jessica Day three years before. Cage never forgot the ‘one’ that got away; and Lake has never forgotten their forbidden kiss.

ONE is an inspiring and endearing story of romance; a seduction of the mind; a tale that will awaken the heart and the soul.
