REVIEW: Wow!! Another amazing book from Nikki. Her soldiers of anarchy series is fast becoming a firm favourite of mine.

Colton is the joker of this pack, a clown with a vicious sense of humour. But loyal to the men he calls brothers. There is nothing he won’t or hasn’t done for them. Like the rest of the soldiers he has had a troubled past, this has shaped him into the psycho/joker he is today. And we get to come along for the ride…. The book is in three parts, triggers warning and tissues are advised.

His counterpart is a wildcard herself. Not a typical person (but totally suited to Colton) a painter with a passionate side that comes out in her work. She also is on a mission, to destroy Colton and the things he did to her family!! When they meet it’s an explosion for Colton. He never thought he would find the other part of his heart! He is slightly annoyed and baffled as to why this woman isn’t flinging herself at his feet.

Shelley feels revulsion and hate, so no, it’s not going to be easy getting past all the hate she has for him (but a conversation she has in the book is a turning point)

It’s a slow burn romance, but when they finally come together, Colton will do everything in his power to prove to Shelly that they are meant to be together. We have a few issues that the pair need to address, we have drama that unfolds with each page. We also have a few moments where I’d loved to have high-fived our FMC.

Be prepared for heart jerking moments and with enough spicy enough to set fire to the pages! (Room filled with mirrors was definitely an eye opener ? and the Halloween scene where he hopes his Shelly will dress as his opposite, and when she turns up in something totally unexpected, was the highlight of the book it’s hilarious?) We also have a betrayal within the rank of the soldiers!! Totally didn’t see that coming! And how it’s played out will have you guessing who it is for a little while, that is until you put the puzzle together.

And the ending!!!! That was a bumpy ride until climactic ending…..

Can’t wait to see who is next ?
